I had opened a video for a school assignment and after a while, the video went haywire and now my display looks pixelated. Can you help me figure out what's wrong? I don't want to lose my files but I am unable to see my options on the screen.

hi.

i recently purchased this laptop on craigslist and when i received it the finger scanner is on. so now i am unable to enter the laptop because it's asking for the password and or finger to be swipped. the person whom i bought from just said is now M.I.A- missing in action!

so if someone can help me or direct me that would be greatly appreciated.

HP Pavilion dv4t: USB ports needs replacing

Laptop fell down and broke the USB ports internally (thanks to a Nano-plug). I tried to glue the broken pieces back together, but ports now only work intermittently.

Without taking the laptop further apart to assess the problem, does anyone know whether it is possible to replace these ports, and if so, where to buy parts.

Everytime I start my laptop it will either boot okay for around 5 seconds and do what is shown in the video, or boot immediately to a crazy glitching screen as soon as it starts up BIOS.

Would a oven reflow do the trick if it is a GPU?

When I Hook My laptop into my TV My Screen Rotates not only on my laptop but on my TV as Well but when its back in regular PC Mode its completely Fine. When I am In Duplicate mode How do I Rotate My screen Back to Normal while still being able to watch stuff from my laptop on my TV?
