HP Pavilion x360 m3-u001dx: Screen glass cracked but touch still working.

I mistakenly used my hands to press down on the hp logo on the top of my laptop and when I opened it there was a tiny crack in the middle of the laptop. Every other thing, such as the touchscreen works fine. The display is also perfect but I really want to fix the cracked glass. Do I need to replace just the glass ?

HP Pavilion x360 14 Series: It stops at the HP logo after turning it on.

I am Japanese and I am using Deepl Translate, so please understand that my English may not be correct. When I came home from school today, I opened my computer and pressed the power button, but I could not get out of the first screen with the HP logo on a black background. I was able to use it normally until last night, but suddenly I can't use it anymore. I was playing OSU!, listening to music on YouTube, talking to friends on Discord, etc. on my computer. I have not visited any suspicious sites. I installed about 20 songs of OSU at once and continued to use it even though the back of the PC was overheating. I guess the heat broke the parts inside the computer? I will reply if there is anything I don't understand.

I spilt a glass of water around my laptop yesterday and obviously some of it splashed. Picked it up asap and unplugged everything in it, dried the area and it was still working. Turned it off 10 minutes later and left it overnight. Just now, I've turned it on, it was working for 10 minutes and now has cut out without turning back on,

HP Pavilion X360: Need M.2 key type to upgrade SSD

Hello! I have an HP Pavilion x360 Convertible, model 15-br0xx, product number 2DS97UA#ABA, and it currently utilizes an M.2 SSD, but uses the “B & M” edge connector. I’d like to clarify if the socket on the motherboard is either “B” or “M” keyed, so I can upgrade to the proper SSD interface. If it uses an “M” keyed socket, I’d be a happy upgrader. The hp forum kind of pointed me to their store to buy the SSD, but I want to shop around, and Google has had no insight either. Thanks for the help!

HP Pavilion x360 13 Series: Why is my laptop not turning on?

Hi

My HP Pavilion x360 13-S104NE has stopped turning on after replacing the battery thanks to AliExpress shipping me a battery with reversed polarity at the terminals which fried the motherboard

The motherboard is the main fried component, but the screen and keyboard/trackpad assembly are also broken, as well as many missing screws thanks to my idiot brother, totaling new parts for repair at more than $700, and considering this is a 9-year-old laptop, my dad says it is not worth repairing, but he wont buy a new laptop either

Any other ideas other than an entire new motherboard such a specific chip? The rest of the components could be taken care of by turning it into a desktop setup, and fixing it slowly as I save up, although considering I don't have an allowance and get my cash by finding coins on the street every few months, that is probably going to take years

EDIT 29/3/25: When connected to the charger some of the capacitors near the charge port become really hot capping at over 63°C
