HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec0000 Series: My touchpad often freezes especially when plugged in - how to clean?

When I'm using my laptop. The touchpad often freezes or very stuttery especially when I plug charger in. I suspect it's because dust / dirt piling up inside the touchpad edges, I tried cleaning up with alcohol but doesn't really helped.

Additionally, I did try to use every driver version on hp site and eventually just removed the touchpad driver and use microsoft default driver, Removing it actually make it bit better, frequency of it happening decrease but still I encountered freezing issue.

If you guys have experienced solving this, what did you do to eliminate or at least reduce the issue so it doesn't happen frequently? Thank you.

So, I've this lap and it's battery is dead and I repaired is from some local repairing dude and he just made my laptop direct through the charging so now I'm using it on directly on charging can anyone help. The whole situation was my laptop got water damaged and wasn't turning on so he said the display is gone and he changed something and said the battery is also gone for good so he is now saying you've to change the battery .

So one my cooling fans broke about a month ago and i got it replaced. after that my laptop got really slow and my speakers stoped working so did my HDMI port. Audio works just fine with a headset. I dont think its a software issue. is there anything I can do to fix it?

How do I calibrate the battery?

I replaced the dead battery in my just out of the box HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1073dx. The new battery holds a charge fine, but I keep getting messages from the HP Assistant V9, the newest version, that the battery needs to be calibrated.

I updated the UEFI BIOS and the Firmware BIOS that run at startup. Then I ran the "Long Battery Test and Calibration" which took 4 plus hours to complete just like the test description said.

At the end it gave me a message the test and calibration were successful. As soon as it rebooted, the HP Assistant still showed the message the battery needed to be calibrated.

I restarted the laptop and the UEFI gave me the same message when I ran the short test, about 2 minutes, that the battery needed to be calibrated.

I will be grateful any help I can get.

I do not have any advanced tools for the replacement of a USB port and I do not know who I would have to go to get it fixed. From what I have seen from the previous questions, there is probably a loose connection, as the USB port only works at certain angles, however, I do not know what tools I would need to fix this, and I also do not know if I would be able to fix this. Please respond soon, as I do not wish to be without a mouse, and instead have to buy a wireless USB extension.

Hi guys, I need your help
I did not use this laptop for a while and this afternoon i tried to use it to get some files, but i was not able to make it start.

When i press the power button, it lights on for one second but that's it .
The screen doesn't turn on, i can't hear any fan going and i have no power from the USB ports.

The charge indicator does work, and now indicates that the battery is fully charged.

I looked for some solutions online but did not find anything other than the basics troubleshooting things (disconnecting the battery and pressing the power button for a minute, try turning it on only with the power adapter plugged in,...)

The exact model n° of the laptop is ec2200nf

I would appriciate any help, because i can't afford to replace it right now

Some of the keyboard keys (g,h, and backspace, primarily) stop responding and I either have to push down hard on it, or hold it a long time, or mash it repeatedly until it pops up with one or maybe two instances of the letter I want where I'm typing.

My speakers is not sounded well. It has some flicker sound that makes audio smaller even in max volume. I think its because of dust. But when i try to vacuum it with vacuum cleaner, it's still sound flick. i tried many, such as open the back laptop case to vacuum any dust, and play ytb video hz that said can to clear speakers. but still, how to solve this?
