HP Pavilion 15-cc123cl: I have to put out my battery to turn my laptop on.

Hello there, last night my laptop worked smoothly and i truned it off properly. This morning i was unable to switch it on. The power buttom simply not working as the battery is totally exhausted. Then, i put my battery out and plug the adapter to turn my laptop on. After turning it on, i put the battery back to its place. Guess what, it was 50% charged. The battery gets charging up as usual. I finished my work and shut it down. Next time, when i reopened the same problem occured. I have to go through the same steps every time to open my laptop. Is there any defect in my battery? Or some hardware issue? Please help me if anyone has suffered the same.

HP Pavilion 15-cc123cl: Harddrive retainer clip for ribbon cable

However, while trying to install the ribbon cable, the clip that holds down the disk drive cable. Any idea what that clip is called or any specs? And does iFixit carries this particular part?

HP Pavilion 15-cc123cl: Every 4 seconds exactly my screen glitches

Exactly every 4 seconds my screen switches from normal to repeating the top bar all the way down the screen for 4 seconds and then goes back to normal and repeats.

Update (03/16/2020)

To summarize for any future readers, the issue was only with the built-in monitor, external monitors worked fine, and the issue persisted in the BIOS menu, most likely indicating a hardware issue. There was no visible damage to the motherboard or the wiring to the screen. I plugged in another , working laptop screen and it worked without issue. I'm fairly certain a replacement screen will fix it. I will update when I get the replacement.

HP Pavilion 15-cc123cl: Charging light on, laptop not turning on

I have a Pavilion Power - 15-cb050od. There is no removable battery as far as I know.

When I plug it in, the little light by the charging port turns on as if it’s charging. But there is no other lights, no sounds, nothing. It will not turn on. I’ve tried hard resetting it and got nothing. Tried the first few steps of restoring the BIOS but nothing ever popped up.

Is there anything I can do?
