When i tried to connect to wifi It shows as No Wi-Fi networks found even the laptop is near to wifi hub.

My hp pavillion 15-cc1xx which was not listed on the select device menu will not vonnect to some networks. It works fine at my home network, but just says no internet, connected when i connect to my school WiFi. The schools WiFi worked perfectly fine 2 weeks ago but now refuses to work.

I do not use Ethernet at home and can't at school and the windows diagnostic hasn't helped.

If anyone has any suggestions id love yo hear them.

A week ago, I tried to upgrade the RAM. It didn’t work so I put the old RAM back in and my laptop was able to boot. I used the laptop for a while before closing it and putting it away without turning it off. After a while, it was turning itself on and off again. When I couldn’t turn it off, I removed the battery, which stopped the laptop turning itself on and off again. A few days later when I tried to use it, it didn’t turn on. The charge light comes on, but the laptop doesn’t turn on. I tried turning it on without the battery and used 2 different chargers but got the same result. When I try to turn it on, the fan doesn’t spin.

HP Pavilion 15-ab165us: My screen flickers and turns off when moved

The screen will turn off temporarily if you move the laptop or turn it certain ways. It seems to me that there is probably a short in one of the screen cables. I have never opened a laptop that was working afterwards, so any help available here for how to open it safely would be amazing, thanks.

HP Pavilion 15-ab: Can I repair my audio hardware on HP Pavilion 15-ab271sa?

I thought at first that this was a software problem as Win10 had just updated but I can find no way to get B&O audio system working and, for example, iTunes gives me an error on startup. Any help would be appreciated. Is the hardware on the MB or on a separate board? I can’t find any info on t’Interweb about this failure. None of the suggested fixes for software problems has solved the problem

HP Pavilion 15-ab243cl: seems to have a defective power port.

It seems the power port is defective. I have tested the charger on another laptop and purchased a new battery that works, so have to assume it’s the port. Is it part of the motherboard or a separate item?

Some background: my laptop won't turn on whatsoever, no power indicator lights, charging lights, nor fans turning on. The device will not turn on or retain a charge.

I would like to know how to replace the battery charging port on my laptop. I had a free diagnostic done and they said that the port was physically damaged. They were not able to test if the laptop would turn on with a good battery because they didn't have an extra. Is there a way to use a multimeter to test the physical battery? How do you recommend I go about fixing the laptop?

I am using the HP pavilion 15-ab243cl and came home to find that my laptop will not power on, it's USB ports are receiving power(which normally wouldn't happen when off), the charging indicator won't turn on(yet the USB devices turn off when battery disconnected and back on when plugged in without battery). Initially power indicator turned on then off when plugged in first time when issue occurred.

My laptop is running out of space but i have done quite a lot to clear space by deleting files and doing things like clearing out my temp folder. I want to see if it is possible for this laptop to gain a higher amount of maximum storage.
