HP Pavilion b Series: Laptop stuck on " Preparing Automatic Repair " during start up.

Laptop: HP Pavilion 14-b109wm.

Running Windows 8.

My father's laptop isn't working. When you turn it on it starts to load Windows 8, but only says "Preparing Automatic Repair" then goes to a black screen.

I tried holding the power button for 20sec, but there was no change during start up.

I restarted again and tried holding F9, F5, F10 to try and run a self diagnostic test, but that didn't work either.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

HP Pavilion x360 14-ba253cl: Laptop power button is on with light lit normally but screen is blank.

Laptop was in sleep mode all the night. When I got up and switched it on, it didn't get switched on and so I shut it down using the power button. After that when I switched on the laptop, the screen is completely blank and black. Literally nothing is there. But the power button white LED light is lit normally with no blinking etc and the laptop is even heating up like normal. The laptop has non-removable battery. So I tried resetting it by pressing power button for more than 15 seconds and also by pressing Windows button+B along with power button, but nothing is working. Plz help.

So i woke up one morning to find out that the following keys on my keyboard dont work. the 6, 7, y, u, h, j, n, and m keys dont work. i figured out that after a few finagling with the lid of the PC, i can get it to work. Like, i guess the real issue is me trying to figure out what is causing the issue. is there a way that i can clean the insides? do the keys pop out? or do i have to unscrew things? is there an exact step by step guide that i can follow? any kind of help will be appreciated. the exact model of my laptop is HP Pavilion x360 14-cd0xxx.

oh and by the way, nothing like water spills or coffee spills happened. it was in my locker working just fine one night and the next day it just stopped getting response from those keys.

HP Pavilion 14t: How do I fix my HP Laptop from white-screening on startup?

So a while after my laptop screen was being cleaned with alchohol spray (that was a bit wet), I turned on my laptop and it started having this weird glitching effect on start up which eventually transitioned to a full white screen and now every startup at this point has been a white screen, with the white screen having some sort of slight pulse before fully white-screening if left sleeping and then turned back on. The screen frame has some small gaps, something I didn't take note of until just after cleaning, so likely the spray must've seeped into the computer that way. This situation has happened once before, but the last time was fixed by waiting for a month or two (which to me is a painstakingly long time), and honestly at this point I can't wait another two months just to be able to use my laptop again. Can someone please tell me how to fix my computer from this predicament? Thanks in advance.
