HP Pavilion G4: HP Pavilion g4 won't turn on despite working charging light

My HP Pavilion g4 laptop won't turn on, even though the charging light turns on when plugged in. I've tried a hard reset (disconnected charger and battery, then held the power button for 30 seconds), but pressing the power button still results in no signs of life, fan sounds, or boot activity. What could be causing this, and how can I troubleshoot or fix it?

HP Pavilion 15-eh: HP Pavilion 15-eh back cover stuck at the bottom edge after removing all screws

I am trying to remove the back cover of my HP Pavilion 15-eh. I have removed all six screws, including the four hidden ones under the rubber feet (the 6.6mm black screws) and the two visible 4.8mm silver screws.

The top edge near the hinges is opening up, but the bottom edge (near the trackpad) is completely stuck. I am using a plastic card to try and pry it, but it feels like it's caught on something and won't pop loose.

Are there any clips or hidden fasteners on the bottom edge that I should be aware of? Any tips for releasing this specific edge without breaking the plastic?

HP Pavilion x360 14-ek0033dk: HP Pavilion x360 14-ek0033dk - Charging light is on but won't power on after potential liquid spill

My HP Pavilion x360 14-ek0033dk is not powering on. The charging light turns on (white) when the AC adapter is plugged in, but pressing the power button does nothing—no fan spin, no screen activity, and no Caps Lock blink codes.

I have already tried the following steps:

1. Performed a hard reset by holding the power button for 30 seconds.

2. Physically disconnected the internal battery and tried booting on AC power alone.

3. Reseated both RAM modules and tested them individually in different slots.

Given that the charging light is on but the power button is unresponsive, is it possible to jumpstart the motherboard to rule out a faulty power button, or are there specific power rails I should check for shorts?

HP Pavilion b Series: Laptop stuck on " Preparing Automatic Repair " during start up.

Laptop: HP Pavilion 14-b109wm.

Running Windows 8.

My father's laptop isn't working. When you turn it on it starts to load Windows 8, but only says "Preparing Automatic Repair" then goes to a black screen.

I tried holding the power button for 20sec, but there was no change during start up.

I restarted again and tried holding F9, F5, F10 to try and run a self diagnostic test, but that didn't work either.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
