HP PDA: I have HP Ipaq 114 stuck on Download mode and reset button won't work

I have HP iPaq 114 stuck on Download mode and it randomly turns on when connected to AC and when I press reset button It turns off and stay that way for over 10 minutes.

I bought a HP iPaq H4150 a few months ago and i only bought the charger a week or two ago. When I turn it on it works fine but when I turn it off it won’t charge or turn on. I can only hard reset it. Plus when I turn the battery dies it factory resets. The backup battery is 100% according to the device. What can I do?

I have an hp iPAQ pocket PC 2200. I have disassembled the unit and unsoldered the rechargeable Maxell button battery from the circuit board but the part number of the battery is partially obscured by the welded-on contact strap. I would appreciate any help with the part number. Thanx PAWinsor
