I bought this HP Officejet Pro 6830 e All-in One series in March 2015 and it worked very well...got new ink worked for awhile.....I do have kittens and they were jumping on it...I know the printer is sensitive....could they have caused this problem??? Now it will NOT PRINT....but says: "Problem with Printhead"???? What can be done???

Printer won't print. Says print head is bad or unplugged. It is not unplugged. I have unplugged the cords in the back, but I still get this error message. Please advise what I need to do.

Hello,

Who can repair a HP 6600 printer?

A couple pieces broke while trying to print a 5x7 photo.

Now the printer will not load up paper to print when there is plenty of paper in the tray.

Buy a new one or fix ?

I can't get my printer to connect to the internet. Says that my password is invalid. HP says the problem is with Time Warner. Time Warner says it the printer. Other devices (iPad) working fine.

Trying to help bf. He bought a new laptop and has not been able to print. He has a HP Officejet 6600 and it appears they installed drivers because it shows up on the Printers & Scanners list, but I think it is set up somehow just as a scanner. It does not show on the printer list when trying to send a document to print. I’m not very technical but am a bit more than him. I clicked to see properties but just shows scanner properties and hardware properties but cannot find anything to maybe switch or add as printer. He doesn’t have wireless, using USB cable to laptop. Not sure that’s an issue anyway. Seems that it’s just not set somewhere to also be a printer. ?? Thank you.

The message says the printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.

I uave done everything HP told me to do and I still have this error. It looks like the black ink spilled inside the printer. Xan I have this repaired or should I just get a new printer. I have already tried to clean all of the ink out but I can't reach inside to get it all out.

Hi all. I'm having a really hard time trying to find something on repairing this. I was cleaning my printer, dust had taken over wasn't used for over a year. When I went inside the printer where the ink cartridges are I realized I loosened a clear tape with smiley faces. Its attached on the right side of the printer but loose on the left side. I just installed a new ink cartridge after cleaning. Printer keeps giving me there's a paper jam, then the ink cartridges won't move, and finally ink cartridges are missing. Aligning was acting up also. The printer worked fine before this. I tried looking in there with a flashlight to see if I could attach the tape again myself. No luck. My printer's warranty is expired I am a student and cannot afford a new printer. Can anyone offer any tips, help, or suggestions? Thanks.

I am getting an error message "Ink System Failure".

I have replaced the ink cartridges, turned the printer off, etc. to reset it. None of these steps have resolved the problem.

Any other suggestions?
