HP Officejet 6600: Why is Printer failure the only thing I can see on the screen

I recently replaced Ink cartridges and flushed out printer head with a cleaning solution that was about 2 weeks ago. Printer was working great. Today I try printing out a few pages only for the first page to make it about 3/4 of the way done then it stopped send out the 2nd page with a ton of wet ink on the bottom of the page. Printer has been stuck on Printer Failure since then haven't been able to get it to go away any thoughts?

After removing a paper-jam, now a message says to load paper. The printer has paper and the rollers descend to pick up paper, then nothing happens. Printer will not even print a status report. Claims to be out of paper.

Trying to help bf. He bought a new laptop and has not been able to print. He has a HP Officejet 6600 and it appears they installed drivers because it shows up on the Printers & Scanners list, but I think it is set up somehow just as a scanner. It does not show on the printer list when trying to send a document to print. I’m not very technical but am a bit more than him. I clicked to see properties but just shows scanner properties and hardware properties but cannot find anything to maybe switch or add as printer. He doesn’t have wireless, using USB cable to laptop. Not sure that’s an issue anyway. Seems that it’s just not set somewhere to also be a printer. ?? Thank you.

Hello,

Who can repair a HP 6600 printer?

A couple pieces broke while trying to print a 5x7 photo.

Now the printer will not load up paper to print when there is plenty of paper in the tray.

Buy a new one or fix ?

Printer keeps saying to load paper and select ok. The printer is not out of paper. Have powered printer off and on. Have unplugged power source. Have removed and replaced paper and selected ok. Still get same message.

An Out of Paper or Load Paper message displays, and the printer does not feed or pick paper. I can push the paper in and it eventually catches but it does not do it on its own.

I bought this HP Officejet Pro 6830 e All-in One series in March 2015 and it worked very well...got new ink worked for awhile.....I do have kittens and they were jumping on it...I know the printer is sensitive....could they have caused this problem??? Now it will NOT PRINT....but says: "Problem with Printhead"???? What can be done???

Are there spares for the mechanism to draw paper in, The feeder should run and its not. The arm extends lines up to the paper but doesn’t turn to draw the paper into the printer.

We have tried all of the troubleshooting to resolve this issue. Cleaned the rollers, reset the printer, etc. still not picking up paper to feed it into printer
