HP Mini 1000: Installing Windows from a MacBook Pro?

Ok I have an HP Mini which had a bad SSD. I replaced the SSD with a similar one, but I have been unable to install Windows to it being that this unit doesn't have an optical drive and I have no other Windows machines available. I tried installing to the drive via my mac, but I get an error stating that Windows can't be installed via USB. Is there a work-around for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HP Mini 311: "No Bootable Device" error on start up

Alright, so long story short I got this laptop out of a junk box of old electronics at work. Perfect condition, but no hardrive or power supply. Easy to find online and order.

I installed the new hardrive and plugged in the power supply. Yay it boots up!

Then I get a black screen with a note at the top "No bootable device"

So I do some Googleing and try all the fixes that are suggested, I remove and replug in the hard drive, I reset the BIOs settings, I make sire the hardrive is at the top of the boot up presses and I ran a hard drive diagnostic in BIOs. Nothing.

I would love to get this little laptop running so I can bring it to DND games (my usual laptop is twice the size of this one and a bit inconvenient, please help!

HP Mini 1000: Replacement LCD screen problem boots up with hp logo barely visible?

Originally, Inverter in HP MIni was bad but the LCD was still fully functional and could use the laptop just the colors were inverted and it got annoying. I decided to replace the LCD! Upon testing the new LCD replacement it would boot with the HP logo barely visible for about 10 seconds then it would turn completely black... I took apart the machine again and before putting it back together I plugged in the old screen and it booted fine! i got the the BIOS settings with out a problem. I sent the item back as defective and got a 2nd LCD replacement screen... but i'm still having the same problem. Does anyone have any insight on this? I'm starting to think that i'm doing something wrong. All tips greatly appreciated.

HP Mini 210: Turns on and then off

When I turn on the mini it starts up but quickly will turn back off again. At times it will get to the windows start screen but then again it will turn off by it self. Almost like a loss of power. I have tried a reset like some other people on forums have suggested with no luck. This is removing the battery and ac power, holding the power button across to turn on for about 1 min and then connecting power and battery back. Still perform the same turning on and off. Any ideas?

HP Netbook: Installing a Fresh Install of Windows 10 on HP Mini but not getting

I’ve put in a new SSD on a HP Mini 5102 and was able to boot Windows 10 on a USB.

I’ve completed the steps such as, choosing what version of Windows (I’ve choose Windows 10 Home) creating the user and password, getting online, choosing the privacy stuff, but when I reach the end of the steps before it suppose to go to the Desktop, the process starts all over. I wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows, it does the same exact thing.

Whenever I create the same user name and password, the system tells me to create another user account.

Does anyone know what is going on, can anyone assist, thanks!
