HP LaserJet 1160 or 1320: Why is HP Laserjet 1320 printing blank papers nonstop?

My printer keeps on printing blank papers non stop once it's connected to power. This even happens when the printer is not being sent a job and the cartridge is not installed in the printer.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

My brother put the paper in the photo tray instead of where the copy paper goes. & the printer sucked the paper in. & now I can't even see the paper to get it out. It's all stuck in there. And now I can't print anything.

When printing, there is smudged ink from the cartridge down the edge of the paper every time I print.

Hello guys

I have a hp 1320 And this printer doesn’t know cartridge. I change board power and formatter but doesn't work. And check cartridge connections but there is no issue on them.

Can anybody help?

The HP 1320 printer is connected to the PC via USB. Windows 10 as an oparative system. When I print the printer, drag other sheets and lock. Other times it prints other white sheets. Manual two-sided printing from the front drawer, however, works correctly. I have updated the drivers, changed the PC, changed the operating system: the result does not change. What can it be? Thank you.

there is a white plastic hinge on the left side of the cartridge door that fell off when I was reassembling and I can't find any info on how it goes back on - can you help

After powering up the printer the ready light appears. I can print the printer configuration pages. However, when I queue a job to print it spools 31% of the data to be printed and stops, and the attention light lights up. What is the attention light indicating? How do I pinpoint what the problem is?

I've had my HP LJ 1320 for about ten years. Until recently, haven't had any trouble with it printing. Some jobs complete, and some don't get off the ground. I suspect that it's taking longer because of larger file sizes and not upgrading the printer's onboard memory. I've looked around for hack/fixes and haven't found anything useful. Prefer to not have to replace it, but yes, it's ten years old. Still doing a solid job when it does print, point me in the right direction, please?
