HP Envy 17-J013CL: massive frame rate drop when playing regular games

so I have owned the envy-17 for just over 7 months now and i regularly game on it, currently its fortnite and GTA5. but recently I have found that trying to play either of these game at all is impossible due to large frame rate drop and large memory usage when I have had multiple hours of game play on both with no problem on this device. I have re-installed the graphics drivers a couple of times and completed virus and malicious scans that come up with nothing. I'm running out of ideas if someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated.

HP Envy 17-J013CL: scrws broke out the casing holding the hinges

I need a repair manual to replace the hinges. Somehow the screws under the rubber feet on the left no longer hold, plastic particles have broken out. Tighten the screw, now it is no longer pure and there are plastic parts eroded. When I open the laptop, the case gapes, what can I do? Do I have to swap the hinge or possibly parts of the housing? Which parts do I have to disassemble to get to the hinge? Please post the instructions for removing the necessary parts.
