HP Envy 14-u: Will show charging light but will not turn on

(note I do not know if this makes a difference but I have the 17-inch version of this laptop but it did not show up)

So this one is weird, so I was using it and it died so I plugged it in the charging light on the side turned on but when I hit the power butting the charging light turned off and the laptop would not turn on. So I unplugged it and plugged it back in but the charging light would not turn back on so I let it sit for a few days plugged it in and the same thing happened but like two months later I plugged it in and it turned on then a few days ago it happened the computer died and would not turn on I have replaced the battery to see if that was the problem but it was not and I have no idea what is wrong with it. Any Ideas?
