HP Elitebook 8570w: My note book wont boot

The model of my hp note book is actually HP 8570p with intel i7 3740qm and AMD HD 7570m

I was having this problem a few days ago, when i was using my notebook, suddenly it freezes and i was forced do to a hard reset

When i tried to turn it back on the fan is spinning and the monitor is black and when i tried to plug in my keyboard, the keyboard light wont turn on

When i was looking for the solution I thought it was because of the cmos battery, because coincidentally for a few week my notebook time was often off every time i turn on the computer after shuting it down

But when i replaced the battery, nothing changed

Does that mean i have motherboard problem?

Is it possible my new battery is dead?

Extra bits:

1.no beep, and the capslock does not blink

When i remove the ram capslock blink 3 time, looking at the hp suport page it mean ram is missing (atleast my notebook recognized that)The led indicator on the sides turn on, charging indicator is normal, when i turn on the notebook, the power indicator is white, and the wifi indicator starts as orange then turn white

HP Elitebook 8570w: Docking port shorted - now what?

So one day, I set down my computer on the table, come back and turn it on. I get a second of display, and it shuts back off, and the docking port starts to smoke. Turns out a piece of tomato of all things got into the docking port and was shorting it out. So I disconnect the power and the battery and clean the docking port with some rubbing alcohol, dry it thoroughly, and let it sit overnight. I discover that it works fine unless you try to put the charger in, then the docking port and only the docking port smokes. There is now a divot in it and there was a tiny amount of melted plastic in there. I never use the docking port. Is it time to replace the motherboard or is there a workaround or way to charge without that port smoking? For reference, my motherboard model is HP 686971-001.

EDIT: I just realized this is my first post on this site. I knew about ifixit and really like and support what you guys do. Thanks!

Update (10/19/2020)

UPDATE: I finally ordered the replacement mobo, thank you guys for all the help!

Update (11/07/2020)

Well, sure enough, I went in, replaced the motherboard, and now it works and charges fine. Thanks everyone for your help in this! I actually ended up buying the ifixit toolkit!

HP Elitebook 8570w: My notebook won't turn on or show any signs of life.

I overclocked the gpu and cpu to get more power and was doing it consistently for about 2 weeks. I used a very powerful cooling system so the laptop didn't overheat, but it would occasionally turn off. I eventually stopped overclocking but then the laptop would be extremely hot and sometimes it randomly turns off even when I didn't do anything- Like I would just turn it on and 5 minutes later its hot asf without me doing anything- but I kept managing it. One day I was playing pes 2017, a none demanding football game, and the laptop turned off, and hasn't turned back on since then. It doesn't boot, no lights turn on, even the charging light doesn't light up when I plug the charger in. I need help.

HP Elitebook 8570w: Life cycle expectation of the HP 8570w

Since I became eligible to order a new but far weaker laptop (14" vs. 17" display, AMD A10-8730B vs. Intel i7) at work, I would like to know if there is a kind of predictable life expectation for this laptop. My current HP 8570w has a new SSD, so there is no risk of HDD failure. Some of my other laptops however had a mainboard failure after around 5 years, and my klunky 8570 already has over 6 years on it.

Thanks !
