HP ElitePad 900: Windows keeps restarting after new install

Hi,

Got this HP Elitepad 900. I've done a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 done the windows updates and installed the HP drivers for it.

When windows loads and shows the tiles it's fine. When I press to go on the desktop, settings or any other tile it shuts down the tablet.

Any ideas?

Replaced battery, now touch doesn't work on touch screen. Still able to use externally connected mouse to navigate, etc. Is there somewhere the “touch” needs turned on in settings or something?

I was updating drivers when the system cracked and I reinstalled new OS. Thereafter, it crashed again, same updating. Now it's not accepting the installation of new OS and it runs on Win 8 or 8.1.

Battery shows "fully charged" but the ElitePad goes dead as soon as I unplug the charger cord.

Only works while it is connected to charger and AC Power

Please install as operating system on your disk

Hard Disk (3F0)

When I press F2, show up :

The HP BIOS application selected ia corrupt or missing. Please install the application and try again.

HP ElitePad 900: Power on fails 95 percent of time, reboot or power on fails

Hp900 elitepad will not boot up or show any sign of power on.

Constant tapping Power on button and Home button sometimes wake it up after 5 minutes of random button pushing.

pressure on power plug or buttons has no effect on turning it on.

Once it is powered on, home, and power sleep, volume buttons work 100 percent.

If powered off or rebooted it wont wake up.

Seems to be internal Logic, software. or power supply, or battery type issue.

Brand new out of box, over night charge and DOA
