HP Elitebook 8460p: A sticky touchpad button

So, the left click touchpad button (LMB) doesn't pop back up after pressing, the laptop itself isn't problemtaic, i could use mouse, but it is just weird. It feels like i am pushing against a solid thing (like a really old matress) instead of a button.

my laptop was restored after a long time of not working. after installing operating system various times, the keyboard, mouse pad and speakers don't work after post. they only work in bios mode. now stuck using external devices. i tried installing drivers, nothing works. bios is locked and i don't have password. please help

When I press the power button, the screen lights up and all the lights appear and the HP logo appears for a split second and then turns off again, but the power light remains lit until the charger is disconnected from the laptop.

I overclocked the gpu and cpu to get more power and was doing it consistently for about 2 weeks. I used a very powerful cooling system so the laptop didn't overheat, but it would occasionally turn off. I eventually stopped overclocking but then the laptop would be extremely hot and sometimes it randomly turns off even when I didn't do anything- Like I would just turn it on and 5 minutes later its hot asf without me doing anything- but I kept managing it. One day I was playing pes 2017, a none demanding football game, and the laptop turned off, and hasn't turned back on since then. It doesn't boot, no lights turn on, even the charging light doesn't light up when I plug the charger in. I need help.
