HP EliteBook 845 G8: Security Privacy replacement of screen

My screen came with the "Security Privacy" option on this HP 845 G8. The touch screen function is disabled. By design, I've never liked the viewing angles that it forces on the user. Now that I don't require the privacy screen nearly as much in my work, is it possible to change this screen out for a "standard" and/or "touch screen" version? This might be better asked of HP. Otherwise all is working just fine but just am curious to know what my options are.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I don't see a "HID - compliant touch screen" entry in Device manager. I don't believe the "Privacy Screen" function is integrated into a "touch screen" on this HP Notebook. This would then suggest that if I was to replace my screen there would have to be two different models for me to choose from.

Can anyone confirm this? What are the part #'s of each ?

Thanks for helping out.

Thanks for any help

Chuck

HP EliteBook 845 G8: The laptop screen is not turning on.

The Caps Lock light is blinking 7 times, and the adapter light stays on what's the problem in motherboard or bios. askIFixitQuestion | device="HP EliteBook 845 G8" | title="Caps Lock blinks 7 times, screen won't turn on, charging light is on" | text="My HP EliteBook 845 G8 is not turning on. The screen remains black, the charger light stays on, and the Caps Lock key blinks 7 times. I have already consulted a technician who has been trying to fix it all day without success. We have likely checked basic RAM issues and hard resets. Could this be a corrupted BIOS that needs external flashing, an EC (Embedded Controller) failure, or a more serious motherboard/CPU issue? Any specific guidance for this model would be greatly appreciated." }}

HP EliteBook 845 G8: Can we have a general cleaning guide?

I just visited India. There is SO much dust there like I can't even describe it. I noticed more overheating so I assume it's dust filled into fans and stuff. Even the screen is icky. I was hoping for a cleaning guide (ex; fans, screen, between the bezels)
