Every now and then my laptop keeps on crashing (as in everything will go black) and when i force restart it it go’s back to normal. But when i go on fire fox (specifically firefox) it will show with an error “flow.exe unkown hard error”. Idk why, i have tried resseting, re-installing.

Hp elite book 830 G5 screen turns gray white or ash once the laptop experience some overheating. At first, it started with glitching screen and now I’ve lost it to ash gray white screen. You can use it from the start for about 10 -30mins or more and then puff, turns ash screen

OK I don't work on laptops often but was asked to replace the keyboard on this HP laptop. I did this because one key was broken and so I had to unassemble everything with no real experience and reassemble it again in the new laptop keyboard. I was able to do so with some ease but after I got everything plugged in, I didn't get a display but the keyboard lights are on and after a little bit the fan starts going until it reaches max speed.

Things I have already done to troubleshoot:

Checked all display and cpu fan connections

Reseated all cables, ram, and cpu/heatsink(haven't reseated all the ribbons)

Checked if it displays on an external monitor, it doesn't

I wanted to flash bios as it seemed like this could be a corrupted bios issue but the manual doesn't show how, and I have no real experience with doing so.

Any help or suggestions are great. Thanks!

(also note its not my laptop and I wont be able to test any theories or methods until atleast til this Monday)

hp elitebook 830 g8: a strange, system disabling issue.

when i plug it in, power/charge light alternates between amber/orange and blue/white whilst the caps lock light glows. lasts a few seconds before going dark again. when i try to power it on when unplugged, the light just blinks orange/amber. is my laptop screwed up? power/mainboard issue? i cant even use this thing cause of what's been going on.

When I try to turn on the laptop, it is not lighting up properly. A while ago the charging button was flashing 8 times when I tried to light it up. Now the capslock key is lighting up abit then turns off.

i recently opened my laptop to upgrade my ram. when i restarted it the touchpad no longer worked. It still clicks and moves as before. Does anyone know where the connector is located, or what else it could be?

When I connect the wireless mouse, a few button not responding, such as Letter G, backspace, down button, & windows button. But after a few moments the button function restore again, after few moments not responding again..
