I have already tried:

1. Using DDU in Safe Mode to wipe drivers.

2. Installing the official HP OEM drivers and the AMD Adrenalin drivers (both fail after a restart).

3. Updating the BIOS and Chipset drivers to the latest versions from HP's support site.

4. Disabling Windows Update driver search to prevent overwriting.

The driver sometimes works after 3+ install attempts, but as soon as I restart or power off the laptop, it reverts to Code 43 in Device Manager. I do not currently have tools to open the laptop and reseat the RAM. Is there any other software workaround or known hardware flaw for this model that causes the GPU state to be lost on reboot?

I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps without success:

1. Hard Reset (Drained power for 60 seconds with battery/AC disconnected).

2. Tested with AC adapter only (internal battery disconnected).

3. Reprogrammed the BIOS (flashed known good firmware).

4. Isolated components (disconnected SSD, Wi-Fi, and secondary boards).

5. Attempted boot with CMOS/RTC battery disconnected.

The laptop shows NO blinking patterns on the Caps Lock/Num Lock keys and there is NO fan spin or display activity. Since the BIOS reprogram and basic isolation didn't work, I suspect a power rail failure on the motherboard.

Are there specific voltage rails (3.3V/5V/CPU_VCORE) or power management ICs (PMIC) known to fail on this model? Any advice on board-level measurements to take next would be greatly appreciated.

- Tested with multiple known-good chargers and different wall outlets.

- Tried both USB-C charging ports on the laptop.

- Performed a hard reset by opening the laptop, disconnecting the internal battery, and holding the power button for 15+ seconds to drain residual power.

- Attempted to power the laptop on with the battery disconnected and only the AC adapter plugged in, but there is still no light and no power.

Since there is no light even with the battery bypassed, I suspect a motherboard or DC-in port issue. Are there specific fuses, MOSFETs, or charging ICs on this board known to fail that I should check?

Symptoms:

- Laptop was working fine without a battery, but after being left unused for a week, it stopped showing a display.

- When plugged in, the power button blinks once, then stays solid.

- Occasionally, leaving it on the charger overnight allows it to boot, but it fails again after a shutdown or sleep.

- It auto-powers on as soon as AC is connected if the RTC battery is unplugged.

Steps already attempted:

- Performed multiple hard resets (holding power button for 30s and 2 minutes with all power sources removed).

- Reseated and cleaned the single RAM module; tried it in both slots.

- Disconnected and reconnected the RTC (CMOS) battery.

- Attempted BIOS recovery key combinations (Win+B and Win+V).

- The fan spins, but there are no specific Caps Lock blink codes.

Could this be a failing capacitor on the motherboard, a corrupted BIOS chip that needs a manual re-flash, or a specific power rail issue common to this model?
