I am an owner of compaq presario C700 laptop.My problem is certain of my keys do not work all the time.

Two months before my a,s,d and f1,f2,f3,f8 and delete were not working.Then after a month all came back and the Ctrl,Shift,Del etc were not working.Now they came back and I am not able to get Enter,Del,0,1etc and the up and down arrows.Some of my key like L work on their own.I performed a Os reinstall and took out just the whole keypad and the connection the plastic strip and re attached it again.Nothing happend.I can type the others fine.When the L key works automatically I just taps the L and the keys nearby to stop it.Why is this.Please help me...

Under top deck "next to power button ribbon".There is a free 4 pin plug,top left What is the name or function of this plug and can I skip it.

I'm talk about when you lowerthe top deck , under key board in cut hole top left" corner is one connect .Underneath top deck on the "mother board it second connects beside the power button ribbon connect ,Not on any side of the laptop

Red,black,green,yellow -ALL SWIRLED i swear looks like speaker wires but mine is not equip

HP Compaq Presario V6000: Why does nothing happen when I move my fingers across my trackpad?

When I try to move the indicatory across the screen it is either jumpy or doesn't move at all. I have to press my finger down hard on the trackpad to get any response.

I've tried to restart my computer and do a reinstall on my hard drive but it doesn't seem to do me any good the problem has stayed the same for about a month now.

Any help would be awesome.

My notebook struggles with Wifi connection. If it is connected the signal is always weak. I can be right next to a laptop that has full Wifi strength and I can't connect at all. Sometimes the signal goes in and out, when there is no change with the router or even if I stay in a stationary position.

Every time I turn my computer on the cooling fan automatically runs very loud. It doesn't matter if there are no programs running or if I am streaming movies from the internet. I feel like the fan is going to blow up if this continues.

I have purchased a cooling base for my computer but it is still running hot. Do I need to use compressed air?

Please help before my computer explodes!!

Hi, my Presario cq56 still drained battery after shutdown and I also noticed the cd-rom indicator light still flashes rapidly.

if battery is 100% charged and shutdown the laptop the next morning when putting it on… the battery will be 40%
