<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: Unable to charge chromebook]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My son's HP chromebook's charging ability got worse and over a few months last year, to the point that it does not charge at all.  The cables have been demonstrated to be working.  Has anyone attempted to fix the issue - I'm guessing that the charging port &quot;desoldered&quot; from the board but I haven't had the chance to take it apart yet.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: How can I bypass my password without factory resetting the laptop]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I forgot my google password for one of my accounts on my chrome book its no the admin account but i need to access some of my documents i have saved and i have no way to reset the password on google for the email…? I dont wanna loose my data documents or anything so i cant factory reset it and i dont know what to do is there ANY way to get around it i can verify for days that its my account but not with my phone number cause i changed it….and i didnt put a back up email either….ahhhhhh</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: Touchpad Is Not Responsive]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>As I was attempting to diagnose another problem with my computer, I removed the keyboard panel from my Chromebook. As I was reassembling, I noticed that the touchpad was unresponsive. Because I own two Chromebooks, I was able to switch out some parts and determine that the ribbon cable and touchpad are both still functional. The keyboard ribbon was unaffected.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: Headphone Jack Not Working]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I was being stupid and mistakenly plugged a powered 9v 3.5mm power supply into my HP Chromebook 14's headphone jack.  At first, both speakers and the jack output weren't working. I restarted my computer and got the built in speakers working again, but when I plug into speakers or headphones, I get a ton of static and feedback, but can hear the output very slightly. If I turn the volume up, I get clicking in addition to the above.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: Bluetooth not working even after sending it to HP]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I had no issue with Bluetooth of my HP Chromebook Model 14c- ca0235ng for sometime. The mobile phones got connected, one phone was paired.</p>

<p>All of sudden, the mobile phones were not recognized. (Strangely the Bravia TV gets recognized by Bluetooth).</p>

<p>I contacted HP and talked with them. Since it was under guarantee, HP asked to send it to them for repair. Few weeks later, I received my laptop back.</p>

<p>In a paper from HP, it was mentioned that motherboard was changed.</p>

<p>I started my Chromebook, switched Bluetooth and searched for devices and lo, the issue was still there! Grrrr...</p>

<p>So my question: Does anyone know what the problem could be? Except the Bravia TV, the chromebook simply does not display any of my devices. If i check from mobile phone, the Chromebook is also not to be seen.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Chromebook 14: chrome book that's water/sick damaged]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Hey all, my brother in law's little one was sick on his laptop so I said I would take alook. I am learning as I go. I've cleaned the board with no luck but these also don't seem to have 2 positive and 2 earth's like normal laptops as they are type C so how would I go about testing the board if I can't find the live. Also in diode mode how much value should a normal resistor have on a board</p>
