HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE: How would you go about replaceing a G8 Chromebook charge port?

My school has invested in a soldering station so that we could replace the charge port without having to replace the whole motherboard. When we tried it we found out that they epoxied over a very resilent solder. Different places seem to sell the part so it has to be possible and if we can get it to work it can save our IT department hundereds of dollars.

The Chromebook says it’s been locked by the school which I don’t go to anymore and haven’t been for the past 3 years but I don’t know how to unlock it I’ve tried all the methods on the internet nothing has worked.

Idk what caused it
