I have an HP Photosmart 945 camera. When I flick the switch to turn it on, most of the time it won't turn on. I can get it to turn on (if I flick the switch about 50 times), but I'd like it to turn on every time. My dad and I think it may be a circuit that's "not catching", but I don't know. When I try to turn it on the light, that turns green when it's turning on, flashes red.

HP Camera: Camera won't charge battery

With camera in the charging cradle, the battery doesn't charge.

The blue indicator light does not come on.

However, when I turn the camera on, the camera comes on normally.

With camera NOT in the charging cradle, it does not come on.

These symptoms are identical with two batteries, so I believe the batteries are not the issue.

My conclusion is that the power supply and cradle are operating properly. The problem must be within the camera itself. Agree?

Several have posted this issue; I've seen no cure. Is there one?

Is there a repair manual or schematic available for this camera?
