HP 7 1800: Back Cover Plate Popping Off, Won't Snap Back Together

Tablet fell underneath the bed one night, now the back cover is popping off, somewhat badly right where the SD card port is. Cover will go back to proper shape with pressure, but it's as though it's trying to close over some sort of obstacle that won't let the panels touch anymore.

Tried to gently snap back together. Considering super glue. Thoughts?
