HP Notebook 15s-fq0000 Series: Laptop won't boot up, power light and charging light flash

Hello, first question here.

I recently acquired a HP notebook, model number 15S-FQ2038NA. The previous owner had removed the factory ram and supplied no charger, so I fitted a new stick of compatible ram and acquired a replacement charger.

After letting it charge for about an hour, I tried firing the system up on mains power. The power indicator light on the right hand side flashes white and stays so for about three seconds, before turning off for another three. When plugged into the mains, the charging indicator light on the left hand side flashes white for a moment, then orange, then switches off over a period of about six seconds. There are no flashing lights on the keyboard.

Having followed a few tutorials, I have tried a number of power reset options, both based on those on HP's website for similar models and various YouTube videos. I also removed the battery, and even without the battery and plugged into mains power, the system does not power on and displays similar lights, which would suggest to me that the battery is fine and isn't the issue.

Does anybody happen to have any suggestions as to what to try next?

HP Notebook 15s-fq0000 Series: Adhesive tapes LCD replacement

Hi,

I can't seem to find the adhesive tapes to remove the LCD screen from the panel to put a new one. I have a HP 15s fq0071.

On the top it's not there and I don't see them at the bottom.

my laptop is starting and all buttons lights and turn on sound also working

But the display isn't turning on

After several attempts only the laptop is turning on and after shutdown dont know how many attempts to take the laptop to turn on

I just handover to a repair shop and they also couldn't find the problem and they side need to cheack on motherboard. I dont thinks its a motherboard issue

Please help me to resolve

HP 15s-eq0000 Series: Why is my screen pink?

Recently I was playing a video game on my HP laptop, of course plugged in for that extra power, when all of a sudden most part of my screen became a pinkish color except for a small, horizontal line on the top of it. I can still use it like normal, but that color makes it hard to see, is there any easy fix?

HP 15s-eq0000 Series: Why my laptop keeps on shutting down whenever it gets a small jerk?

Whenever my laptop gets a jerk, it shows a blue screen and then shuts down. Sometimes it gets freezes and then I have to long press the power button to shut it down. Also sometimes when I open my laptop, the display show nothing but the capslock button starts blinking, but I somehow manage it to start but the same thing happens again and again.

I had my laptop sent to a repair shop and they returned it fixed, so i turned it off to get dinner and when i returned, it doesn't connect to the monitor. I used an external monitor and i saw that it only scanned my external monitor and not the laptop monitor. Is this somewhat a broken connection or just a loose port? HP 15s-du2034tx
