HP 15-D076NR: My laptop won't turn on

Hey guys, I recently opened up my laptop and replaced my HDD with an SSD. After I put everything back together, the laptop won’t even attempt to boot. I opened it back up to ensure that everything was connected to the motherboard properly and it all checks out. I’m not sure what happened and need some help saving my laptop. Thanks

Hi! I’ve had this computer for about 2 years I believe and over the past few months I’ve started having problems with the screen. The thing that happens is that the picture on the screen will suddenly freeze either displaying a slightly distorted picture or displaying a weird color change that resembles a magnet being held to a television. (No matter what happens with the colors the screen freezes and I have to adjust it forward or backward or squeeze the top of the screen. However, these are only temporary remedies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may have listed the wrong computer my laptop is a Hp 15 series model number is 15-ay009dx

I don't know how , but when day my computer screen flipped sideways . I pressed F4 to get it back the right way . A drop menu appeared and I clicked on duplicate second screen only then my screen completely blacks out . Help !

I know this processor/system is meant to be low wattage etc. but i would feel safer if this laptop didn't potentially break down during gaming hours. I'm content with the fps it can give me during games so I would like to know if I can just install a fan .

I have a hp notebook 15-ac152sab i simply Dissasembled it and reassembled it completely everything was working before and outside the original case but when i put it back together the power led turns on for 4-5 seconds then turns off i don’t think anything is damaged please Help!!

HP Laptop 15-BS008CA: Wanting to install more ram in my HP 15-BS008CA

I have looked on here for a guide but no luck Windows 10 tells me there is another ram slot available so I would like to install another 4 GB of Ram into the computer although when I looked in the computer I only see 1 slot and I am not sure about if it is on the other side or not of the computer for the additional ram slot. I have checked the internet for any take apart guides but no luck. What I would like to do is turn this computer into a light weight video editing machine until I can afford something more expensive by making it 8 GB ram instead of 4 GB.

HP 15 Series: My HP laptop shutting down itself

Why is my HP laptop shutting down itself and wouldn't be put on again. Whenever it shutdown itself and I try to put it on again it won't. And it make takes hours if not days to be put on again. I even thought it was the battery until when I got a new good battery to it and yet never stop shutting down.

Please help, I don't know what to do anymore.

HP Notebook 15s-fq0000 Series: Laptop won't boot up, power light and charging light flash

Hello, first question here.

I recently acquired a HP notebook, model number 15S-FQ2038NA. The previous owner had removed the factory ram and supplied no charger, so I fitted a new stick of compatible ram and acquired a replacement charger.

After letting it charge for about an hour, I tried firing the system up on mains power. The power indicator light on the right hand side flashes white and stays so for about three seconds, before turning off for another three. When plugged into the mains, the charging indicator light on the left hand side flashes white for a moment, then orange, then switches off over a period of about six seconds. There are no flashing lights on the keyboard.

Having followed a few tutorials, I have tried a number of power reset options, both based on those on HP's website for similar models and various YouTube videos. I also removed the battery, and even without the battery and plugged into mains power, the system does not power on and displays similar lights, which would suggest to me that the battery is fine and isn't the issue.

Does anybody happen to have any suggestions as to what to try next?

HP Notebook 15s-fq0000 Series: Adhesive tapes LCD replacement

Hi,

I can't seem to find the adhesive tapes to remove the LCD screen from the panel to put a new one. I have a HP 15s fq0071.

On the top it's not there and I don't see them at the bottom.
