My screen is black while the laptop is on. I have tried pressing every key on my keyboard any clicking around with my touchpad, but nothing seems to be working.

I don't know how , but when day my computer screen flipped sideways . I pressed F4 to get it back the right way . A drop menu appeared and I clicked on duplicate second screen only then my screen completely blacks out . Help !

I know this processor/system is meant to be low wattage etc. but i would feel safer if this laptop didn't potentially break down during gaming hours. I'm content with the fps it can give me during games so I would like to know if I can just install a fan .

I have a hp notebook 15-ac152sab i simply Dissasembled it and reassembled it completely everything was working before and outside the original case but when i put it back together the power led turns on for 4-5 seconds then turns off i don’t think anything is damaged please Help!!

I accidentally spilled tea on my laptop's keyboard and now half of the left screen is flickering (sometimes mildly and at times intensely). Besides that, everything seems to work fine. Is it possible to fix it without resorting to replace the entire screen ? Thank you.

HP 15-R263DX: How do I boot from a CD?

I put a CD with Ubuntu on it in my laptop, then turn off and turn on my laptop. As it stars up, I hit the "f" buttons, and it does not bring up the bios menu I was expecting in order to boot from the CD. I tried holding the function (fn) button and hitting f1, f2, all the way to f12. I tried hitting escape, and delete. Nothing keeps it from just starting up in Windows 8 like usual. What do I do to boot from the CD?

HP TouchSmart 15-r015dx: Screen showing multiple flickering circles on right side of screen

My screen is displaying flickering circles in the right side of the screen that draw the mouse pointer directly to them causing no functionality of the mouse. The memory is showing close to maximum; space available on the hard drive. Force “hard” restart sometimes clears up the flickering enough to log in a function for a random amount of time (range: 5 min - over 1 hour).

HP Flyer Red: My hp f272wm will not turn on! What do I do?

My hp f272wm has the charger light on but that is the only thing that is on. But when the battery is in it will blink red fast then blue long then red fast then blue real long then blue twice and the blue twice will repeat. But when I take the battery out it is solid blue but when I hit the power button it will not turn on.

HP 15-r137wm TouchSmart: Keyboard Zif separated from MB

I have accidentally separated the keyboard Zif connector on my HP 15-n230sa laptop from the main board. Didn't realise the tab was on the opposite side of the connector and stupidly prised it off the board.

Please would you mind taking a look at the pictures and tell me whether this can be rectified? Is there anyway to reseat it back on the board?
