My children spilled some water on it not that long ago and at first it was working okay but the it started to slowly not work and I did my best to dry it out but now it's just showing preparing automatic repair and doesn't go past that how would I fix it without spending so much money?

I bought my laptop at Walmart recently and I want to give it a boost. I use it for working at home and a little bit of Minecrafting with my son. I am worried that the Minecraft game will bog it down over time and I don't want to do that nor do I want to buy a whole other laptop.
Here are the specs from Walmart:

My laptop is not powering up, I have had the adapter checked and it's working perfectly. No problems there I believe maybe the power pin or pins input solder joint on the main board my have separated? From constant use of plugging in and removing the adapter plug?
