I have a 2020 HP 14 dk1022wm. For some reason, my laptop screen suddenly blacked out on me while it was running. The process for me was that I pressed and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until there was no power. Then I power it back up, I get a LED light showing that there is power, then the fan came on for a second then stopped and then my LED light went out then came back on, repeating this loop over and over again; kinda like a boot loop problem, but with a black screen insrtead. I checked all of my components from the RAM to the LCD cable line, but to no avail. And yes, I took the battery/CMOS out and tried troubleshooting it with the battery, but that didn't work. Of all the parts I've checked, they look pretty new.

Is there anything that I over looked, and if so, which part and what do I need to do with it? If not, what part is most likely going to be the problem? Any ideas or solutions?

I actually have a HP 14-dq0001dx wit 64gb eMMC SSD and 4 GB RAM. Is is possible to upgrade the hard drive to a larger drive? If so, where is the hard drive locate? Is it under the motherboard?

HP Laptop 14-cm0000 Series: Laptop turns on but no display

I have a HP 14-cm003na laptop that turns on (fan spins, light changes to white) but nothing is shown on display. Display looks like it's not even turned on. I opened it up and inspected some parts. I first tried with an external monitor to see if anything shows up when turned on but nothing does. It says no signal. I've tested the ram in a different pc as well and it's not that. I've only recently seen something in the ram connector. Not sure if it's corrosion or something but it doesn't come off. Not sure how I can clean it. Also there's no other ram slot for me to test. What do you guys think the problem is?

i Have this model HP Laptop - 14s-fq0010nj

i wanted to replace the battery when i flipped the laptop and removed from the back case all the screws (as i think )

i were not able to remove the back case yet - its like its stuck or there a something inside that holds that case - now im unable to remove the back case

also - i have no idea how the battery look inside - can i just replace the battery if i removed the back case

It only happened maybe 40 minutes ago, it spilled around the arrow keys up to the delete button. It turns on and everything but when I'm typing the | line keeps jumping to the beginning of the paragraph or sentence. I assume maybe its not completely dry? Hopefully…

I have an HP-14 cf2112wm laptop. I originally got it with a smashed screen and only a meager 4GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM. Since getting it I have replaced the screen and put 8GB of 3200 MHz Teamgroup T-Force DDR4 Zeus RAM inside it. However, this 3200 MHz RAM is only functioning as 2400 MHz of RAM. As you can see, the default clock speed is 2400 MHz. How do I make it function as 3200 MHz? I have tried overclocking with Intel XMB, and there is no RAM speed option in my BIOS. I am a very technically experienced person, so I feel slightly ashamed of not figuring this out. This system is heavily modified and customized (I'm even working on a custom backlight!), so I want it to be the BEST possible. Please help!

why can't my touchpad be used to scroll with two fingers? my touchapad can only be used as a pointer to point the cursor. To scroll the screen up or down can only use the scroll button on the right side of the screen. How can I fix this?
