Les Paul Wireless Guitar: Green + red + yellow cause strum

Hi, having an issue where pressing the first three frets at once causes a downstrum. When I hold these frets, I can still strum up after the first downstrum has happened, but strumming down has no effect.

I have already resoldered the neck connector pins and have even gone as far as to completely unsolder the entire 14-pin strum bar connector from the "main" board, the one with the Xbox button. As far as I can tell, none of the connections on that 14-pin board are shorted to the one next to it and I've run out of ideas.

What could I do next to try and pinpoint the problem? Has anyone fixed an issue like this on their controller?

Les Paul Wireless Guitar: Broken Connection - blinking lights

Hi Fellas,

up to now my Guitar worked fine. Just today as I tried to connect it seems to connect as Controller No. 2 but the other lights keep flashing and nothing works.

USB connector is unlikely because my other Guitar connects fine and the Broken one doesn't work with my Second connector as well. So I assume the Receiver of the Guitar.

My Problem is now I found no hint where to look for the Receiver Inside the Guitar. Do you have any Info for me about that?

Thx in Advance.

Bye,

Les Paul Wireless Guitar: Controller Is Constantly Disconnecting

I've had my Xbox 360 Les Paul guitars since GH3 came out back in '07 and I've been trying to bring them back to life. I've hardwired the fret buttons to the main pcb so that I don't have to deal with those stupid pogo pins, but I've run into a bigger issue. It keeps disconnecting, inconsistently at that. Sometimes it's every 30 seconds, and sometimes it'll go for a few songs without any problems. It always disconnects for either just a split second, or up to 30 seconds. ⏎
⏎
I've changed the 220uf 10v cap on the battery pack, and the problem is still happening. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Anyone have any tips?

Les Paul Wireless Guitar: Yellow button stays pressed (even with a different neck)

I replaced the 220uf 10v capacitor because the guitar would not sync. Now it syncs fine but it thinks the yellow button is always pressed (no idea if it did this before fix since it would not sync). I tried changing the neck with another one and still has the problem so it is not the buttons or fret board. I went in and removed excess solder thinking it was bridged, and now both yellow and blue are always pressed. any ideas?

Les Paul Wireless Guitar: My red button flickers on and off and then shuts down

I was playing some Metallica (don't judge) and then my red button started flickering causing me to miss notes. It does it randomly unless you whammy. When you whammy it shuts down. I checked all of the games and it does it in them too. 3 the most ironically since the guitar came with that game.

I have it for the wii but I assume the guitars are the same so I am asking here.

Les Paul Wireless Guitar: Fret Button Malfunction - Blue Button is always on

I recently bought a guitar hero 3 les paul controller for PS3. When I tested it I noticed the Blue Button is pressed automatically every time I play a song. I tried cleaning the contacts on the PCB (Fret Buttons) with IPA and Pencil Eraser. It would work for a couple of songs (meaning the Blue Button is not pressed) BUT it will go back to its previous condition where the Blue Button is pressed automatically. I only played on EASY difficulty, it still gone back to being pressed. Tried changing the (Blue) Button Pads with Gray ones, still same effect. Need help on how to fix this.
