Epiphone SG Guitar: How do I prevent my guitar's input jack from loosening?

The input jack on my Epiphone SG electric guitar keeps loosening after several hours of (nonconsecutive) play. I don't want to strip the backing plate screws by removing the plate to tighten the jack once a week! The jack on this model is on the front face of the guitar.

Other than looping the cable through the guitar's strap to prevent excess pressure on the jack, what's a good solution to this problem?

Possible ideas I've thought of include loc-tite (which I'd rather avoid) and replacing the jack's washers with larger diameter ones to prevent the tension from compressing the wood.

Fender Starcaster: How to replace snapped far e string

About 1 month ago, I was playing guitar and I bent the e string too far and it snapped. I was asking how I could do it myself and get a guide to do it myself. If anyone has a guide that they can lend that would be good.

The closest guitar I could get was a Fender stratocaster but the guitar is a westfield guitar.

Guitar: Guitar not giving any sound after soldering

Hello,

I just soldered for the first time and strictly followed the instructions given by someone on YouTube and the PDF given by the vendor.

The thing is though..

It just doesn't make any sound when plugging into an amp.

Also tried soldering a different jack, but that didn't seem to fix the problem.

Please help asap

Update (26.07.2019)

Now the amp is playing some audio, but only the middle 4strings (no E/e)

And if I navigate across the strings only E/e make different vocals. All the other strings make the same vocals, regardless of what I do.

Guitar: How do I find information on how to replace pickups on an active bass?

I have an Ibanez SR300E bass guitar which the pickups have died on and I need to fix it, problem is I live in regional Australia and there's only one guitar repair guy in town and he doesn't do electrics, so I'm up the proverbial creek unless I can figure out how to do this myself.

I have a basic understanding of how to solder, but I've never messed with guitars so I'm not sure what I would need to know before I start.

I've reached out to a couple of places to see if they're able to find parts, otherwise I might need to try to fix the broken pickups somehow.

Googling doesn't really get you very far these days so I was hoping you fine folks might be able to give me some pointers on where I can look for wiring diagrams or anything else I would need to know before I start opening it up.

(I'm not a professional musician by any stretch so I'm not expecting the guitar to sound amazing, I just need it to work)

Guitar: Backplate won't come off?

I have an old LTD H-51 that I'm trying to disassemble so I can paint, but the backplate won't come off no matter what I do. I've tried pulling it off with tape, prying it off eith a knife (even my sharpest knives were too thick to wedge under it, screwing a screw slightly into the backplate and prying it from the screw, but it won't budge one bit. Any tips? Is the backplate perhaps not designed to come off of this particular model (I couldn't imagine but you never know)?
