My outer screen is always blank and using the rear selfie feature causes the phone to crash. The outer screen is working because when I turn the phone on it displays the Google logo without issue. I downloaded Castro and have found that the hinge angle sensor is not outputting any data and I'm wondering how to replace the hinge angle sensor.

My 14 day old pixel fold was befouled by a 12 week old puppy who decided to chew the internal screen on the corner, breaking the glass a small amount and destroying the LCD. (Yes, before you ask, the phone DID cost more than the puppy!).

I'd really like to try and get it fixed up and working again if I can, but I haven't even managed to find anywhere nearby that can fix it, let alone finding out the cost of such a repair.

Is it possible to buy the parts, tools and instructions required to do this myself? Thank you in advance!

Google Pixel Fold: Pixel Fold won't go into folded mode

I recently bought myself a pixel fold that presented itself with an issue I've never seen before- the phone works mostly fine, however the phone always acts like it's in the open position. I've been looking into the issue, and have narrowed the issue down to either the lower sub board or the hinge flex cable, however I'd like a second opinion before going forward with a repair. Here are the symptoms:

-Phone will not enter closed state, and doesn't adjust content when the phone is flexed

-"Hinge Angle Sensor" doesn't report any data in Castro diagnostic app

-Accelerometer 2 and Gyroscope 2 (both located on lower sub board) don't return any diagnostic data in the Pixel diagnostics app

-Booting takes multiple minutes, and the phone sometimes boot loops for a bit before successfully booting (however once booted, the phone works normally without any random reboots or shutdowns)

-When attempting to use dual screen features (like made you look, picture previews, or the translate feature), the phone says it has started the feature, however it becomes extremely laggy and starts warming up

With all of this, I would also like to point out some other things that are tossing me up

-The issue is persistent and is never not present. The previous owner also said that the issue just began one day with no build up or intermittency

-The outer display is functional, it is able to display picture during boot and when charging while powered down

-The phone can read SIM cards consistently (sim reader is on lower sub board)

-Battery life is normal and consistent, so the larger battery is able to make a proper connection with the mainboard

So to ask, is it more likely that the flex cable or the lower sub board is at fault? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Google Pixel Fold: Interior screen protector peeling, is there a replacement?

The inner screen protector of my OG pixel fold is peeling off. It is lifting from the crease out. I know that it is an eventually, when the whole screen protector falls off. I have seen others online have removed the screen protector film and the phone works fine. I also understand it voids my warranty, which is already out of date. Is there option for internal display OE screen protectors? Other than replacing the whole screen which would be a waste?

Bought a New Front Outter Camer from IFIXIT, and still mi camera dont work, all the parts are working, because when i disconect the camera and turn on the phone, i recibe a message that the camera is not working, but when i connect the new one or the one i replace is just black and the camera app crash

Hi, my selfie cam outter screen stop working i bought the piecein ifixit, but when i remove the screen i try to do it very gently now mi outter screen have white bars, and the touch dont work at all.

I can see only parts of the screen and the camera still just show black even with the new one

I need yo teeplace now my screen?

And what else can be the problen of the front face cam, my pixel have only un fail not it get worst.

When i disamble the screen i never hear a crack or somethoing

Google Pixel Fold: Where can I get camera glass replacement

I woke this morning to find a hole perfectly above my camera so that the lens is exposed the camera still works except blurry between 2x-5x so my question has two parts first will the blue go away with a new camera glass and where can I get the glass? Thanks in advance

I'm looking for replacement inside screen trim particularly the right side with the camera punch out. I'm not sure what occurred however there is some kind of deformation on the upper right inner screen trim. The phone is in impeccable condition with no blemishes or markings so I'm unsure as to what might have occurred. Regardless I would like to fix it and was advised that you would be partnering with Google to provide replacement parts. Please advise if you are able to assist in this matter.
