Hello, my Pixel 8 Pro is experiencing significant GPS issues. While it initially detects my current location accurately in Google Maps, navigation is severely impaired. When driving with a set destination, the location updates are erratic and delayed, often pausing for several seconds before making small, inaccurate adjustments. Google Maps consistently reports low compass accuracy. Furthermore, other map applications indicate a complete loss of the GPS signal. I've attempted all standard software troubleshooting steps, including a factory reset, without resolution

I have purchased an after market screen which only works BETA 15. It turns on the factory android 14 but has 0 touch response. I have tried sideloads, flash, factory reset etc. No luck. As soon as I install Beta 15 version image the screen works perfectly as it should. Please share your valuable knowledge. Many thanks in advance.

Google Pixel 8 Pro: modem crashes, reboot required to reconnect to Verizon data/phone/SMS

My cell phone works for a while after restart but then loses connection to Verizon data/phone/SMS services. Endless attempts to disable/re-enable physical SIM card, turn on / off airplane mode, etc., many other methods, fails to reconnect to Verizon data/phone/SMS services. Note that Bluetooth and Wifi continue to work without problem while the "modem" and connectivity to Verizon are having troubles.

To further diagnose, I attached a laptop to my Pixel 8 Pro with USB-C cable and captured "adb logs" I see in the log lines a confirmation there's an issue with cell phone modem, the "adb logs" show this line: "MODEM STATUS : STATE_CRASH_EXIT", followed by more lines indicating attempts to reboot the modem with "Modem state changed from CRASH EXIT to BOOTING", followed endlessly by "BOOTING to OFFLINE", "OFFLINE to BOOTING", etc., in an endless cycle.

QUESTION: is there a way to replace the modem that provides mobile data/call/text in the Pixel 8 Pro? ... is it a "standalone" piece or is it part of a larger component?

Google Pixel 8 Pro: Gestures and proximity not working after screen replacement

Hi, so I just replaced the screen of my Pixel 8 Pro.

After installing it I started noticing some issues. For example:

Everytime a make a call or answer a call, the screen turns black without me bringing it next to my ear.
When a play a voice note, it always plays on the ear speaker not on the bottom speaker.
The click to wake and lift to wake gestures are not working anymore.

I believe this has something to do with the proximity sensors of the new display. Can somebody help me please?

Hi, I replaced the screen and battery on my pixel 8 pro and everything is working fine except for the rear camera and flashlight. Inside the camera app it just says something wen wrong. I have ensured that all the rear camera cables are plugged in but still nothing. I have tried seemingly everything from google so I was wondering if anyone knew what could be happening. There is no visible damage to the rear assembly, cables, or motherboard. I am at a loss here so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Google Pixel 8 Pro: Numbers pad won't work
