Google Pixel 4: Pixel 4, protective plastic between back panel and battery compartment

I am replacing the battery in my Pixel 4 and my scraper slipped while scraping the adhesive on my back panel. I tore some of the protective backing on the panel on the edge above the QR code. I was able to mostly smooth it back down, but did I make a MAJOR mistake, or will it be okay?

Google Pixel 4: Pixel 4 unresponsive troubleshooting, display already changed

My Pixel 4 became unresponsive after a crash, shortly afterwards the screen only flickered slightly green, after that it went completely dead. I think (not sure) I could make out the vibration on turning on/hard reset for a while, but that was 3 weeks ago and I can't say for sure. I ordered a new display, disassembled the phone, changed the screen and reassembled, I used a screen without a new frame. The phone remains completely dead and unresponsive on any action, also with charger cable plugged in. I'll order a new battery and try that just in case, but any suggestions other than that on how to troubleshoot the issue?

Any tests I can do on the opened phone?

I did re-check all connectors. One screw is missing, I hope that the screws don't fit as circuits in some way? But I tried "filling in" the missing screw with one from a place that seems surrounded by plastic only, didn't help either.

Google Pixel 4: Wi-Fi weak reception. Some IC changed after water damage

Recently my pixel fell in river and was submerged for at least a nice 10 minutes. When I retrieved it I immediately switched it off. But after a few days it didn't start. I got it repaired everything works great except the Wi-Fi and front speaker. Wi-Fi always shows weak connection only works if I place the device on router then the phone is able to get full range. Any visibility on this?

Google Pixel 4: My google pixel screen keeps going black after being replaced

My Pixel 4 screen keeps randomly going black, and usually comes back on by pressing down really hard on the screen. I brought this a local repair shop, and uBreakiFix. The local repair shop replaced the screen and then suggested pressing down on it will fix it, while uBreakiFix just said they couldn't fix it. Recently I haven't been able to make the phone turn back on by pressing down on it. The local repair shop also said something about an fpc connector? No idea if that will help.

I needed to know about this thermal flare up when fixing power parts with buttons. And something about I.F exposure doesn't seem really to be anything to worry about just following up.

Also I can't source the exact part needed for the power button repair parts.Starting with the Flex cable,The actual correct buttons. Th glass on back im ok and tools for doing it seem to be able to be sourced.

Google Pixel 4: How do I correctly replace active edge/grip sensors?

Hey there! I am replacing the active edge sensors on the side rails of my pixel 4, but I can't seem to do it correctly. I've now put my second sensors on, and still I cannot get the sensors to function as they should. They either are very sensitive no matter what I change the sensitivity setting to in the phone, or, as they are now, they instantly fire and don't release. Any suggestions?

Google Pixel 4: Buttons do not work after screen replacement

Pixel 4 - Screen is working well, it is showing battery when connected, but i cannot turn the phone on.

I confirmed that the the buttons are making the contact with a magnifying glass.

Volume buttons may not be working as well.

The crack that caused broken screen is just above the power button, the phone is very slightly bent over there but buttons were working before replacement.

I followed the steps in ifixit guide exactly. I think somehow i managed to loosen the button connector but is it possible? Any thoughts?

Google Pixel 4: Replaced cracked screen and top of screen is not responsive.

I replaced my Google Pixel 4 screen last night, everything works on the screen as it should except the top portion of the screen will not respond to touch or tapping. It won't let me swipe down or tap on icons in the top left or right corners to open them, for example I can't hit the back arrow on a screen but I can swipe to the right to return to the previous page. is this possibly just a bad connection on the screen? Or a faulty screen?

Google Pixel 4: My phone doesn't get any service after a cracked screen.

So, about two months ago I dropped my phone and the upper left corner cracked pretty bad. The glass on top of the front facing camera fell off but only that small part is exposed. I haven't had the time to get my screen fixed and just recently my phone starting losing service. At first it would just go in and out of service randomly but now it won't even get any service what so ever. I've been told that I could have damaged the antenna from having it broken for so long. Is this something that can be fixed?
