Google Pixel 3 XL: Возможно ли отвязать корпоративный (управляемый) телефон на Android?

Google Pixel 3 XL: USB-C Port doesn't work properly. Doesn't charge correctly. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have a strange problem with my Pixel 3 XL:

It always shows the notification that the connected device is being charged via USB. Although there is no device connected. When I plug in a charger, it does not charge. But when I open the USB settings and change the USB-connection to be managed by the pixel and plug in a charger at the same time, it works. The problem occurs also in safe mode.

The USB-C headphones that came with the Pixel do not work anymore as well.

So Google Support told me it is a hardware problem. But it doesn’t seem to be does it? Or it is a combination of hardware and software maybe?

Do you have any ideas how to fix this?

Unfortunately the warranty is lost because I have a small damage on the outside of the pixel.

Thank you for your help

Google Pixel 3 XL: Bought a managed device - automatically resets

I bought a used Google Pixel 3 XL from a marketplace website. Everything seemed fine, until I started getting a notification saying “Device managed by admin - Automatically resetting soon".

When I tap on the notification, it says “Device setup keeps stopping". I checked the phone's IMEI on the online blacklist, but it doesn't classify as lost or stolen. If I try to factory reset the phone, it asks me for an "@google.com" adress.

My question is, should I be worried? Is there a way to fix this?

Google Pixel 3 XL: Mic doesn't work after charging port replacement

I replaced my charging port with an iFixit replacement. After putting back together everything works as expected except for the mic when not on speaker phone. From my research, the mic is part of the charging assembly. I am wondering if I received a defective part? I am going to take apart again in check all connections. I’m wondering if anyone else has suggestions…

Google Pixel 3 XL: Screen Stopped Sensing Touch A Few Minutes After Battery Replacement

So I just performed a battery replaced and glued everything back together again. Put on the charger and charged from 0% to 100%. The digitizer, all buttons, and the fingerprint reader are working but a few minutes later the touch sensor in the screen started to fail (first the upper middle so I rebooted it thinking that would fix it then it most of the screen - can't put in my PIN, and finally almost nothing working except a small spot at the top) until eventually, no part of the touch screen was working anymore.

Google Pixel 3 XL: WIFI and Bluetooth stop working randomly

Those features both turn off during use and can't be turned back on without a reboot. This can take from 1 reboot to more than a dozen reboots to come back.

This issue has survived a reflash from Lineage OS 18 to 19. It occurred/ occurs with both versions. I didn't test it with the original Android OS.

Some forum users suggest pinching the bottom right hand corner to help create contact between certain components with cold solder and the motherboard. I can't tell if this helps or not.

Google Pixel 3 XL: Screen unresponsive after battery replacement.

After replacing my battery yesterday, the screen worked fine for 1–2 hours. Then the touch functionality stopped working in the top third of the screen. Within 30 minutes, there was no touch functionality except for the bottom 5 mm of the screen. I left it overnight, and now the screen flashed a few colors and won't turn on. I assume the phone is on since it vibrates when I hold the power button. After opening it up again, I checked the connectors for display, battery, buttons and coil, which were correctly seated. The display is still black.

Is the only option a replacement screen, or is there something else I can try before committing to that option (200€).

EDIT:
For some reason, the screen now flashes on dimly and the shuts off quickly while a white line appears in the top third of the screen when I press the lock button.

EDIT 2:
After turning off and on again, the display turned on for a split second showing the boot process, but faded to black right away. I can make out a faint Outline of the google logo afterwards, but nothing after. I'm starting to suspect that the backlight isn't working...

Google Pixel 3 XL: How hard is it to restore the water resistance?

I have a Pixel 3 XL a family member broke the screen on, so I bought a donor phone to get the screen and got the phone going and it worked out well (outside of ripping the matched camera on one side, and fingerprint reader but since I was working with a donor device heh), didn't even have to recalibrate the finger sensor because I reset it and never touched it until I could confirm it works. They didn't want it back, so free phone (well, outside of needing to buy a parts phone).

Is it possible to restore the water resistance reliably on these, or should I consign myself to no water resistance and just seal it well enough to close (but be serviceable) once I replace the battery? The battery I put in was bent in (pulled from the donor) removal a little, but it worked for testing.
