Google Pixel 2: The camera and USB charging port stopped working after repair?

So basically I had a bad battery and a camera that was having OIS issues and ordered a replacement for both. I turn off the phone, take the device apart making sure to be extra careful around the ribbon cables, and replaced the battery and the camera. I didn't peel away any of the silver tape on the replacement camera, and the only reason I bring it up is because the original seemed to be attached to the front facing camera by this thin silver tape (not a flex cable or anything, possibly a grounding cable.

What's even weirder is the inside of my phone has a few pieces that the guide doesn't, such as the silver tape on the cameras, and a metal plate covering the motherboard {not the midframe})

anyway, replaced the camera, hooked everything back up, and when I turned the phone on, the camera now not only doesn't work, but it seems that NEITHER camera is even being shown as FUNCTIONING (downloaded a hardware test, shows no cameras connected to the device, and I only swapped out the back camera! Never even touched the front! And to top it off, the USB C port won't even take a charge now!

I have no idea what I did to this device at all. I've taken it back apart 3 times now, turned it off, cleaned all the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, reconnected, tested again and still bust. I had ordered a replacement charging port but that was only because I felt the vibration motor was going out; the charging port worked fine, and I didn't want to solder it back on (don't know why they would even solder it to the board but whatever) and I'm just in need of some help. Anybody who can help PLEASE! I will give 120$ to the person who can help me come up with a solution, I'm not kidding! That's how much I'm in the phone for so if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated!!!! Thank you!

Google Pixel 2: Display Screen Not Working

Replaced battery, Then replaced screen. Phone will not vibrate when turned on or display charging icon when plugged into charger. The disassembly and reassembly went fine. No damage noted during disassembly/reassembly.

Battery showed an initial charge of 3.82 V, 4.32 V after charging.

Ruling out a defective new screen, what are the most common hiccups?

Google Pixel 2: Dark green screen after boot, even with brand new screen. New battery

I purchased a replacement screen for a Google Pixel 2 straight from ifixit. Both it, and the original screen, have full color while booting, but as soon as the lock screen is displayed, everything is very dark green, almost black, and I can't see anything.

Originally, I was performing a battery replacement. That appears to have been successful, but something is obviously wrong. I'm hoping it's just something in software? I can't figure it out.

Update (10/19/2022)

Some gif-converted videos on what this looks like, here:

https://i.imgur.com/B6sRhPj.gifv

The video is a little blurry with some artifacts. Ignore that. Just focus on how at certain points there is full color and clarity, and other times there are greenish squares for those same UI elements, if not an entirely green screen.

Google Pixel 2: Pixel 2 secure screen connection

I had stepped on and shattered my screen. It worked fine for weeks. It was just ugly. When removing the screen to replace it, the ribbon, bracket, and 2 screws just sprung out. There may have also been a pick in there but I could not tell if it was one of my own that fell into the housing. I had the screen professionally changed in the past.

I found reattaching the ribbon to be very difficult. It never really "snapped" into the motherboard. The screen ribbon would act as a cantilever and pop out of the recessed connection. I had to hold the connector in place while I screwed in the bracket and hope for the best. It worked for a while but now I get a pixelated screen when coming off of sleep mode. it goes away when I press on the left middle side of the screen about where the ribbon-motherboard connection is. The phone will register touches but the screen will be frozen until that area is pressed again.

Are there any tips on maintaining a good screen connection on this device? Maybe the pick was left in the housing previously for this reason?

Google Pixel 2: Pixel 2 USB-C Port Fails with Headphones

My USB - C port on my Pixel 2 has not been working with headphones. It usually regurgitates extremely loud static, or complete silence.

I have to pull the USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter slightly out and push on it from the side for it to work. It is a brand new adapter, and I have tested it with other phones, so I know that it works.

I was wondering if someone else has experienced this. I have had the phone since it was released, so perhaps the contacts are just very worn. I want to know if I would have to replace the entire charging assembly to fix it, or if there is something simpler I can do.

I also am wondering how risky it is to make this repair myself. I have already fixed an x-box wireless card, laptop, and some knives with my kit, and I'm very careful.

I suppose the question is, should I replace the charging assembly, or invest in some nice Bluetooth headphones haha.

Hi all. So my Pixel 2's screen shut off suddenly. It still responds to buttons and everything, but the screen is black.
