Google Home Mini: Has anyone managed to open their device yet?

I've toyed around with it a bit, and managed to unclip a couple of the clips on the sides in between the plastic and the fabric area, but don't want to apply too much pressure, due to the risk of things breaking, and the one or two clips that come un-done aren't enough to allow the unit to open. Has anyone managed to successfully open their unit yet?

Google Home Mini: Google home mini does not respond

My google home mini only responds to command prompts like “okay google” and “hey google” but doesn’t respond to my full command. In the my activity tab of the Google home app I found out that there was a lot of static being pickled up by the microphone. How can I fix this?

Here is a screen recording of what my google home mini picks up with its mic. It only worked for around 20 mins after unboxing.

I was trying to modify my google mini to play through new speakers, which was working perfectly fine until the first PCB (the one that plugs directly into power source) broke. I have been on to google support and they suggested to ask here - so here I am.

I’ve tried all the major sites and nothing - can anybody help? I really don’t want to buy a new one when its only one circuit gone bad :(

Google Home Mini: Possible Alternative or Replacement to Google Homi Mini Fabric?

So I got a new Google Home mini and a few nights ago, I streched my arm out to turn of my alarm when I heard a rip. I didn’t know what it was till that morning. My nails cut a small little piece of the fabric and as small as it is, it is so annoying to look at it! Any ideas? I’m hoping to keep the same color fabric which is the aqua colored one, but I want that rip gone. Please help!
