Google Pixel Buds Pro: Squealing/Sqeaking in left bud

My left earbud has a repetitive squealing/squeaking sound when used in either noise cancelling mode. If i turn off NC, the sounds goes away. The volume in the left side also seems quieter. I have had this issue once before more than a year ago when they were under warranty where I sent them in for successful repair (or whatever they did). I suspect that earwax builds up inside the buds under the protective screen over time but can't verify without removing the screen. I'm willing to do some disassembly if it might fix them. Any suggestions?

My left earbud battery drains within seconds even after fully charging the case. The right earbud lasts only around 15 minutes. I have tried resetting and cleaning charging contacts. Is this likely a battery failure or charging case issue? Are the batteries replaceable?

Google Pixel Buds A-Series: Any way to repair the pairing button?

After dropping my A Series case a few too many times (the smooth, round shape of the buds does not lend much grip friction to the case...) the pairing button on the back of my case has now found its way pressed and stuck into the oblong cutout shape of the case.

I've tried to finagle it back into place with some small tools, but I'm probably just making things worse. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Google Pixel Buds Pro: Dead, clicking noise, and overheating during wireless charging

Device: Google Pixel Buds Pro Charging Case

Symptoms:

My charging case is completely unresponsive. It does not show any LED light when connected to a USB-C cable (tried several certified PD chargers like Ugreen 30W and Baseus 65W).

Specific findings:

Overheating: When placed on a wireless charger (MagSafe style), the LED flashes amber momentarily and then fades. The bottom of the case becomes very hot within minutes.

Audible noise: If I hold the case to my ear while on the wireless charger, I can hear a fast, periodic clicking/chirping sound (likely a PMIC/controller stuck in a restart loop or "hiccup mode").

Reset: Holding the pairing button for 30+ seconds gives zero response.

Partial Passthrough: One earbud managed to get 5% charge after a long session on the wireless charger, even though the case itself remains dead.

What I've tried:

Cleaned the USB-C port and internal pins with Isopropyl alcohol.

Tried various power adapters and cables.

Attempted factory reset multiple times.

Hypothesis: I suspect a short circuit on the main logic board or a failed PMIC. Given that the case is ultrasonically welded/glued, is there any known way to repair this without completely destroying the plastic shell? Are there common capacitor failures on this board?
