I was trying to see if I could get various pictures of motherboards, but that aren't detailed enough for me to see. On Google.

In my older GP. This is component I circled is here. But in my newer one it's lol.. like gone completely.

I have no understanding why my old one had that part I originally circled on my first post got damaged.

But yeah I think it's toast my gp

My Gopro Her 4 seems to have gotten a crack in the body as per image.

Is here perhaps a replacement part I can get?

Whats strange is that I basically never used the Gopro and had it stored in the waterproof housing. When I recently dug it out I noticed this crack in the body (as well as face-plate which seems to be standard on these models)

Any help would be appreciated.

sadly gopro basically ended their support of the older camera models, which might still be good and useful.

I was looking for the standard gopro hero 4 case and the backpac backdoor. The orignial parts support diving to the depth of 40m.

There are still a lot of thirdparty cases available, but often you see them leaking water and damaging the camera.

If you know where to get new original stock or equal parts in the eu (germany), please help me out.

Most of the time whenever i record in 4k or or low quality.. A few minutes are recorded well... Then the screen turns white... Although audio is recorded but recorded video is just white blank screen...

I was reparing my Gopro Hero 4 black when I broke up the tiny white flap which connect flex battery cable with the mother board. I tried to fix it again but it was impossible.

I have a big problem right now, so I need your help¡¡. Even if I get a new one flap from a destroyed Gopro o whatever I think I wouldn`t be almost impossible to attached again because the flap housing is a bit damaged.

So, What can i do? What options do I have?

Some kind of electronic glue to stick the cable flex and the connector permanently? I am desperated because all components are already repaired and the gopro should be working nice now..

I really appreciate some kind of help¡

My son tried to put the wrong charging cord into camera and it bend up the port. Do you repair this and if so, how much? Hoping to repair rather than buy new one.

Is compatible with the gopro hero 4 BLACK edition ?

Because both are out of stock.

I realized that the three cables from the SILVER model are colorful and from the BLACK model are all black

I had a recently accident in Bali with my gopro hero 4 black.

Yesterday i went to dive and the dive case was not fully closed perhaps because the white rubber around the back case was damaged and salty water came through it. Besides, i didn't put the lateral black plastic cap over the ports (Charge&SD) so i think the water went through the camera easier.

I did realize when i was at 30 meters, so i couldn't do anything to stop the water coming in until we finished the dive.

Well, after diving when i arrived to the bungalow. I put the camera in sweet water trying to remove the salt. After that, i went to buy some rice to put it inside around 1 day and half.

Right now, i am able to switch on the camera. The front lcd works well and also the front button. The shutter button and the lateral wifi doesn't respond.

The charger port and Micro SD doesn't work. I connected an external LCD Bacpac and the screen is fully black so I think the camera doesn't work properly neither.

I would like to repair it as far as i can.

Do you think would be possible to fix it?

Which spare parts do you think i need to change?

I really appreciate your help!

also it's not responding to the charger although I changed the battery and tried different USB chargers.

my gopro has been freezing and getting super hot lately. which led me to get anew sensor as many people suggest that as a solution. but in vain, the issue was not in the sensor. any help with that ????

I’ve got a problem with my go pro hero 4 black it is not powering on without the ads card and no battery (usb connect to pc)

Have tried to update the firmware but the pc can only see the device as grayed out and not on the system usb devices.

Has anyone any ideas what has happened/ any fixes (hardware or software)
