Gigaset Phone: Sudden discharge of battery

The handset appears to be fully charged. Suddenly during use, it goes dead. When I put on the charger it shows that it is completely discharged and requires several hours charging. I have already changed to new bateries but it still happens. How can a battery completely discharge suddenly like that? Is there a solution?

Gigaset Phone: My batteries are fully loaded, but when I take out the handset it dies

Fully charges handsets from the Gigaset 510, but when i take one of the handsets out of the cradle it dies. And when im putting it back in the cradle it starts loading again. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it dies. Could it be a lose contact in the phone? Does anyone knows how to open this phone?

Gigaset Phone: Gigaset C430A shows "Please check phone connection"

During a thunderstorm, the power supply to my C430A base unit was zapped (so, incidentally, was my router and phone master socket- both now replaced by BT and working). I have obtained a second-hand power supply for the C430A, and everything works (saved numbers, paging handsets, handset identities, handsets connect to base station) EXCEPT that the base does not see the phone line. Other phones work ok in the same socket. I've tried to have a look inside (removed the 4 star screws) but can't open it up. Any suggestions please?

Gigaset Phone: Answering machine icon flashes and answering machine stopped working

We have the Gigaset DX800 All in One and we have several problems with it.

The most important one is that the icon of the answering machine flashes and it says there are 2 messages but we cannot listen to them, delete them or anything. When we try to listen to them we just hear a beep and it pushes us out again. It's also not possible anymore to leave a message when people call us.

Another problem is that when people call, the number sometimes keeps on hanging in the screen but person already hanged-up the phone.

Does anyone has experience with this and knows how to solve it. The isn't any costumer support for this.

Gigaset Phone: Siemens Gigaset charger interface (A130 / A220)?

Anyone knows what the (old) Siemens Gigaset DECT handsets require from the charging cradle?

I would like to convert a A220 base to a charger cradle - but can’t quite figure out what the handset needs. Seems there’s a simple transistor circuit and a 22R series resistor in the base. Might be controlled - or might just be a short circuit protection? Have no supply for the unit - so I’m not even sure of the voltage levels… Anyone has a clue? Or a schematics (ie. of the charger cradle, the base station, or the handset)?
