Ge Profile refregerator: The water filter is leaking

The GE refrigerator is 2 years old. I’m in this house for about 1 year now and I replaced the filter once already. After 6 months, the water filter light came on again, and so I bought from GEappliances online a set of three new water filters MWF exactly the same as the one being replaced. The instructions says something about align the arrows and turn to the right until it stops. The arrow in the filter doesn’t have another mark to align to, but I managed to fit it in and twist to the right until it sops. However, it immediately started to leak. I took it out and try again, still leaking. Try for a third time, completely out and then in again twist it until it seemed it fits and turning more until it click and then it stops….still leaking. What’s the problem? I bought it as a genuine part from GE directly.

Ge Profile refregerator: Fridge light isn't working.

We just got this ge french door refrigerator everything was working until i left the top doors open too long while filling it with my groceries. I smelt something burning like when a vacuum overheats. The fridge lights are still on at this point i finally close the doors and when i open them again the light is out and they are hot to the touch. Im thinking maybe one of the connections was not fastened right or the light burnt out. (All other lights are working)

Ge Profile refregerator: It never ejects the next batch

I have just returned my electronic GE icemaker. After resetting it, it will eject one batch of ice and I can see it refill the reservoir to produce the next batch. However, it never ejects the next batch until I do the reset procedure again. I've done this several times over a couple of days. Is continues to only make one batch.

Ge Profile refregerator: Why will my refrigerator not turn on?

So I was troubleshooting the refrigerator not cooling but freezer working fine. Found what I think might be the issue the evaporator fan in the fridge. As i was taking the deli drawer apart the plug to it came loose and the wires came un pinned and touched each other! After finding the wiring diagram i re installed the pins in the correct locations. I unplugged the refrigerator and then plugged it back in to reset it but the lights or anything wont come on. The only thing that comes on is the screen on the front door and it only turns on to see the GE symbol and I cant change it to say or so anything else. What do you think the issue might be? Blew the main board after it shorted out or is there a fuse I can look for? Any other way to reset it other than unplug?

Ge Profile refregerator: Freezer is cold but fridge is not

Freezer is working normally but the fridge doesn't get as cold as it should. Freezer is at 0 while fridge is set to be 34, but a handheld temperature check shows 46.

Freezer fan and fridge damper are working.

Put the fridge in diagnostic mode and no errors reported.

Removed the panel covering the freezer evap coils and there was some ice buildup, but it wasn't significant.

Did a hard reset on the fridge. No change.

Ge Profile refregerator: My fridge is too warm but my freezer is too cold

I have a side by side fridge/freezer. The freezer is set to the warmest setting and the fridge set to coldest. (Not how I usually have it set, just since having a problem). My freezer is so cold that I can't crack ice trays or scoop ice cream. My fridge is too warm. It's still "chilled" but not as cold as it was or as it should be. The bottom vent in fridge was frozen over and I melted that out with a hair dryer. The fan next to the compressor is spinning. I'm not sure if I'm hearing my compressor kick on but my freezer is working so I'm assuming the compressor runs that? How can I tell if the top vent is frozen? I can't see ice the way I could on the bottom vent but I'm wondering if there could be a build up. What else can I check? My ice/water has never been hooked up so that isn't a problem and I have checked the seals on the doors and they are both tight. I checked the coils for dirt and while they are somewhat dusty they aren't covered or blocked. The amount of food in both sides is about the same as its always been. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
