it currently has a Core2 Duo T5250 1.5GHz (667MHz bus) and I'm think up upgrading it to a T5850 2.13GHz (667MHz Bus) or to a T9500 2.6GHZ (800MHz Bus)

the bios version on the GM965 chipset is 89.24, I think the chipset bus supports up to 800MHz cpus from my research but correct me if I'm wrong though

What could this be? Is there an internal fuze that may have blown?
