Gateway SA1: Black or dead screen

My laptop seems to work when Turn it on.. I can hear the fan and hard drives working but the screen stays black like as if I hadn't turn it on or anything. Is the screen broken or is it loose..

My power cord is not longer working and I cannot find a place online that sells power cords for model SA1 Gateway computers. HELP!

Gateway SA1: My laptop keeps freezing-about 1 yr old.

My laptop recently started frezing up. It first started when I used Facebook-today it froze up with Itunes on-while a cartoon was being played. I use 1TB external as a backup & where I keep most of my items to save space on my laptop to prevent it from being bogged down. I'm taking a class for IT Security so I'm trying to learn things myself-no clue why this is happening. When it freezes I can not even get into task manager to shut anything down I have to manually press the power button to completely shut it off which I don't like doing-I'd rather (at minim.) be able to hit restart....help :) Teach me lol. Thanks

Gateway SA1: No WIFI options in panel or in configuration

I have problems with the Wi-FI configuration beucause it´s not apper the option to detect a Wireless Network. It´s only apper the cable Network (Ethernet) and the DIAL UP metod.

Please help me.

Hello

I have had a issue with my gateway laptop where the screen has about 4 green vertical lines and one red vertical line about 1mm thick all in the same spot on the screen they are always there . But when I flex the screen outwards slightly they go away. On boot up they take a few seconds to completely show they seem to almost fade in when the screen turns on or the machine boots. My question is would this be a problem with the screen inverter or the lcd cable?

I have a Gateway SA1 laptop that i have not used for a long time now. I brought it out because i need it but it wont start. When i plug it to the power outlet it doesn't show anything. The other time it shows that it is charging but it won't boot on. Please what do i need to do because it was working quite well before it went on a long sleep
