my garmin smart drive 60 wont turn on …it was plugged in overnight & a cold front came thru…now wont turn on…wanted to take back off to reset battery cable but dont have torx driver that tiny…

Garmin Smart Drive 60: I have a DriveAssist 51 & didn't see it

Garmin smart drive 60

How far away from the windshield can I mount the gps unit and still have it still be effective? I would like to mount it to headliner about 12 inches from windshield were it is out of the way, still readable and does not inhibit my view. It is a 4x4 truck and optimal viewing area is a must. the unit is a Garmin drive smart 60.
