Garmin Nuvi 50LM: I cannot change the home location on my device

I purchased unit 2nd hand, however I am unable to set it to my home state and location, keeps referring back to original Location ( Texas) in currently in AZ I cleared all the ‘Favorites” but still wont load up maps or allow me to set it for AZ, actually AZ doesn’t come up in the state search

Ive had this Garmin Nüvi 50LM for a year or two. It has never been updated so when i bought it and updated it and everything, the gps said "Detailed Maps are required for routing. No detailed maps were found on this device." How do i fix this problem?

I am trying to remove Torx screws holding Garmin case together. I purchased the T4 screwdriver. I can see the screws spinning, but none of the four screws are raising up out of their slots. Would appreciate additional instruction. Thanks!

Do not know if this is at all possible. Is it possible to reprogram/update the Garmin by attaching some repair device to its motherboard?

My Garmin 50 LM will not get past "loading maps" and it is not recognized by PC.

When I connect the powered-off Garmin to my PC; the Garmin wakes up but instead of going into Mass Storage Mode, it shows the progress bar. The Garmin does not appear on the PC as a drive.
