Sometimes the screen in my watch randomly turns off (and will not turn back on), or sometimes it will not even turn on at all. If I shake the watch, it will then turn back sometimes. Why is this happening?

so I haven't used my watch for quite a few months so charged it up to use it and the date and time is wrong. I cant find how to manually set it? Ive tried the light and down button which hasn't done anything so any suggestions would be great

I purchased a new battery and installed it. The watch worked as it should. When i needed to charge the watch it wouldn't charge. I purchased a new charger to make sure my charger wasn't faulty and it still won't charge. Thinking the battery i have is faulty.

I have deleted all activities off of watch and it still was resetting during my run. I was able to go for about 2 miles before it reset, then it reset frequently after that. The last mile it did not reset at all. I am confused and frustrated! Thanks

Dear sir/madam,

I would like to inform you of the following:

On March 06, 2015 I bought a fenix2 device. For the next two years I was using it in its basic operation functions without any problems. For my sporting activities I was using the forerunner 210 which I bought two years later.

The guarantee of my fenix expired on March 2017.

On April the device with the touch of any key few times died, although it was fully charged. Even if I reverted it to the factory settings the problem continued to exist.

On June I delivered the device for technical control to the official store of Garmin in my country. The official telephone answer of the technical support was the following :<< Υour device has a battery problem. The battery on fenix2 does not change so you have two choices:

1. You pay 148€ to bring you a new device from UK.

2. You pay 199€ to upgrade your device with a new fenix3 as part of the company upgrading program. >>

The official view of Garmin Greece was the following: You bought two years before a fenix2 in a value of 312€. Bad luck. The battery is defective. So you have to pay extra 148€ to bring you a new one because the ‘’old’’ is off....

So I ordered the battery from ebay (PD3555 3.7V) to repair it, based on your procedures.

I had never used my fenix underwater. The existed rubber gasket seems ok. Do you think that it could be better to buy a new one ? Where can I find it?

Garmin Fenix 2: "down" button needs to be pressed several times

Hi,

i have to push the "Down" button several times and sometimes with more power than the other buttons in order to respond. How can i fix this? what could be the issue?

Fenix 2 can not discover any sensors and phones. On display we see device is ready to pair (or try to find any sensor) but can not do it. Any phone can not find the watch as well.

I charge it on my laptop, and leave it for overnight. Try to on can not open anymore.

Try to connect to laptop again but no avail.

Would it be battery issue?
