Game Boy Micro: The speaker contacts are broken and I can't find a replacement.

Hi all! My GBM sound started to fail from time to time but finally it stopped working. I have disassembled the GBM and find out that one of the speaker contacts was missing. After searching a while, I've found the broken part, however I wasn't able to fix it. I have been searching for speaker replacement but I don't know the name or reference of the speaker. I measured that the speakes is about 13mm of diameter and about 3mm in depth. Do you know a PN for that speaker? Thank you!

Game Boy Micro: Why is the left stick on my d-pad not responsive?

All the other buttons work like butter but not the left stick on the d-pad. Why though? Also, the other sticks on the d-pad work just fine by the way. (right, up, and down sticks all still work but not the left stick.) Right now, I haven’t tried anything yet because I’m afraid I might break my gameboy.

Game Boy Micro: Will the device charge with foreign charger?

Hi there !

I Just owned a japanese limited edition Game Boy micro. It comes with a japanese charger which objiously wont fit in my French outlet.

I have a french gameboy micro with a "regular" charger. Will I be able to charge the japanese one with the french charger without any risk ?

In other terms, do the device cares about the local powerage ? I guess that it's the charger's job to adapt the power to the device but I wouldnt like my gameboy to burn in front of my unpowerful eyes after giving it a try.

Thanks for your help !

tested the screen and speakers on my good gameboy and they work so the problem must be on the motherboard itself

Game Boy Micro: Why isn't my gameboy micro turning on?

I found a used Game boy micro at a thrift store but no charger for it. I recently found a charger to try it out but when I plug in the charger the blue lights from the start/select buttons flash on but instantly turns back off and the Game boy does not charge. I saw a sticker with red dots on the inside next to the battery connection and looked like the same sticker you find inside phones to indicate that it has water damage. Is that the case with this Game boy? Does it have water damage and if so is it fixable?
