Galaxy Tab S 10.5: Why does my tablet suddenly shut down when battery is around 60%?

I've been having this issue that when my battery would be around 30%, suddenly the screen goes black and my tab turns off. I cannot turn it back on in any way, only by plugging it in a power source and then holding power and volume down..

So I replaced the battery...Now, with the new battery, it happens around 60%.

What's going on :(

Galaxy Tab S 10.5: Screen Flicker On/Off. Sometimes drops to lock screen.

Link to flicker video

I got this Tab S as a refurb less than 30 days go. As soon as I got it, I wiped it and updated to most current Android available OTA. After 25 days or so I started to get a flicker where the screen turns off and on. Sometimes it drops out into the lock screen and it flickers from their instead of the home screen. The first day it happened I rebooted and it went away. 2 days later it came back and won't stop. It could be anecdotal but it felt like if I gave it a gentle shake or even dropped it a few inches onto my bed the flicker went away. I thought perhaps there was a loose connection inside. This no longer appears to be the case. Today the flicker continues regardless of any shaking. I haven't installed any new apps or changed any settings since I initially set it up.

Do you think this is a mechanical failure inside? This is what I initially thought as giving it a shake seemed to make it go away. Would it be worth opening up and re-seating the connections? I can't find any tear down vids that go beyond replacing the battery so I'm sort of apprehensive about the connectors.

Alternatively I can return the device to Best Buy before the 30 day refurb warranty runs out. If I return it they will not replace it, they will only return the cost. Given that I got a good deal and have already invested additional money into a case and memory card I'd prefer to keep the device if it's fixable.

Additional Info: The battery and charger seem fine, I've seen other people complaining about battery jumping and flicker. This seems to be a different issue.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5: No power, replaced battery, battery is not charging when plugged in

I have a Galaxy 10.5 (SM-T800) that I picked up to repair. It had no power when I bought it, battery was below 3 volts so I replaced that first. Left it to charge overnight and found that the battery's voltage had not change. I can't get it to power on at all, tried hard reset with the buttons (Power, Volume up, Home) and no response. Tried multiple chargers and cables they all work, swapped the motherboard with another SM-T800, though I can't know if that one is any good either. What am I missing? Would it not turn on at all if the charging port is bad? I have a new charging port on its way but even so with a good battery at the right voltage it should turn right on. None of the water stickers show any evidence of water damage either. The screen is not cracked and it has basically no marks on it anywhere, so it probably wasn't dropped.

Any help or input would be really appreciated, thank you.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5: Can I just swap motherboards between SM-T800?

I have two SM-T800 tablets: one is a 64Gb version (Titanium color) with a shattered glass and the other is a 16Gb version (white). Can I just swap the motherboards or is there some minute difference in size or something ? Do I need to swap the home button part too for the fingerprint reader to still work ?

I have seen that it is possible to replace just the glass on this AMOLED screen but would rather attempt it on the 16Gb version than the 64Gb one. (I hate Samsung for not allowing adoptable storage on those devices. 16Gb on those is a pain, especially when they bundle 650Mb for Powerpoint in main memory)
