<title><![CDATA[Galaxy Note10 Plus: Tell me what's causing the black screen]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>It works, but I can't touch it.</p>

<p>It doesn't even show the logo, it just stays black.<br /><br />The screen doesn't come up at all.</p>

<p>Before the screen went black, the liquid crystal brightness was faded, and it won't charge via USB, so I have to use wireless charging. What could be the cause?<br /><br />It won't charge via USB, but you can still connect it to your computer and have it recognized.</p>

<p>However, you can't even DEX it because the screen doesn't appear. <br /><br />I heard that the S22 also has this black screen issue due to a connector connection.</p>

<p>So which connector are you talking about?</p>

<p>Someone else said it's a battery issue.</p>

<p>Or is it a problem with the LCD itself?</p>

<title><![CDATA[Galaxy Note10 Plus: How to check for short cicuits in the internals?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I dropped my phone in a bucket of fresh water, and since the phone is 5 years old at this point so the VHB tape sealing the phone and making it watertight might've given way. The back cover is already disassembled and the internals are already exposed. The phone did not instantly turn off when it hit the water, it took about 10 seconds for it to switch off. Is there a possibility that there are short circuits in the electronics? If so can I use a multimeter to check it?</p>]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[Galaxy Note10 Plus: Black screen after battery and back panel replacement]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I replaced my battery last night and put the back panel back on using a book to help press down the adhesive. After which I left it charging and went to bed. When I woke up to check if the battery was working, the screen was completely blank. I did a soft reset to check for signs of life and thankfully there were but still no light on my screen. I managed to unlock my device using the Samsung find my mobile service and open Dex on a monitor so I can at least access my data but as soon as I turn off Dex, it doesn't cast One UI to the monitor. I've also reconnected and disconnected all of the cables to make sure none were loose or damaged (but I could have missed something).</p>]]></description>

<p>Does anyone know how to fix this problem? The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ can only boot up to this screen. I tried to press vol+ and Home button for several seconds and also tried vol- and home button as well for several seconds, but neither work. Hoping someone would know how to fix this problem.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Galaxy Note10 Plus: Screen wont turn on...weird alarming noise / vibrating]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My phone was covered in in a beach bag yesterday but got too hot still from the sun. I took it out and put it in the shade to cool down after which it worked fine. I then took it in the water (salt water) to take some videos. I i understood it was water resistant up to 1.5 meters or 5 feet, i submerged it virectly down 6” trying to get a cool shot. I’ve done this is freshwater before with no issue. After about 2 minutes the screen became inactive. As there was no cellular reception the phone quickly hit 20% battery and quickly lost power from there. As soon as it hits 10% it loses about 1% per minute (all the time, not just yesterday). As we got back to the hotel I plugged the phone in for an hour and went to dinner. We came back and there was no charging icon on the screen and no blinking light on the top. I turned it on and it started making this alarming sound and vibrating with no screen. Almost sounds like an amber alert has been issued.</p>

<p>Things I’ve tried:</p>

<ul><li>rinsing it under fresh water</li><li>soaking it in fresh water</li><li>rapidly plugging and unplogging the charger cable to clean the ports / pins from any salt residue</li><li>holding down power button for 30 seconds - 2 minutes</li><li>holding down power button + volume down button for 30 seconds - 2 minutes</li><li>holding down power button + volume up button for 30 seconds - 2 minutes</li><li>holding down power button + volume down button + power up button for 30 seconds - 2 minutes</li><li>searched this entire form and others for like situations and answers</li><li>Tried multiple cables, charging blocks, wall outlets. all cables and charging blocks work on other devices but mine so power is not an issue</li></ul>
